Delayed rescue of vulnerable person
Contacted tyre rescue after father in law had a blow out. When I said he is 87 the guy on the phone assured me he'd be treated as an emergency case and they'd be there in 45mins for £330. They took a deposit and asked if we wanted the rest of the payment to go on the same card to save F-in-L hassle - we said yes.
We gave the location and kept getting told they couldn't find him. 4h later a 3rd party got there, sorted him in 10 mins and charged him at the roadside.
So, all in all:
- huge delay vs what we were told
- no priority for an elderly person
- payment method agreed wasn't honoured
- no receipt offered.
Initial response was great - execution was appalling
