TV repairs Singapore are scammers
This company the top search when you google for TV repairs in Singapore.
I called them on April 2, 2026 to provide an estimate for repair of my 7-year-old Samsung TV which had a screen display problem. They quoted the very reasonable figure of $20 for a site visit. Their technician, Arul, came over in half an hour,. Unsurprisingly, he said that the repairs would cost over $300, and immediately suggested that I buy a Prism TV which he just happened to have in his van. As the cost of $550 seemed reasonable, I agreed and Arul efficiently installed the TV and the numerous apps. He asked me to pay the amount to his boss William by PayNow, which I did. When I asked him about the invoice he said he would get the details and the warranty from his van. As I had another call coming in, I agreed. To my chagrin, he did not come back and even took away the box. Numerous calls to the company's number as well as WhatsApp messages have gone unanswered so i am left with a TV with no proof of purchase or warranty. The people running the company are William and Andy ( no last names) and Arul, a foreign worker, is their techy.
Beware of this scamming company as Prism TV says they do not have any resellers, so I probably have a used TV which could go kaput at any time.
Caveat Emptor, I blame myself for paying without getting the documents.
