When you have your car at the mechanic, the only thing you don’t need is to pay for an item that is not compatible (asked in advance to make sure it fits). We sended back and still waiting for the refund back. Now apparently they are closed until 6th of may because of the bank holiday?! None answering the phone and none available on chat.

I spoke to Dave, and asked about the turbos they did, he was very helpful and explained what was on offer, I made my mind up and told them what I wanted, I had to wait for someone to call me to take the payment as only 1 person can. I was told that if I returned my old turbo I would get a refund of some of the money. They said all the details would be in the box to return it. I got my turbo but didn’t get a receipt and had to ask 3 or 4 times for them to send one. The mechanic came and fitted my turbo only for it to have a faulty actuator. Despite being in my first few weeks of purchase they said I needed to go through the 2 year warranty that was included, even though I’m entitled to a straight exchange. I was passed to the warranty company despite my contract been with these. The mechanic said if they send an actuator out he could fit within 30 mins but they are insisting I return the full turbo to be inspected by their mechanic because I could be using a mechanic that doesn’t have a clue and shouldn’t be touching iturbos even though he has just managed to take apart my engine take out the old turbo fit the new one and rebuild my engine at a cost of £600 and now they want me to pay it all again so they can inspect their faulty part through a warranty scheme and make sure the marks on the bolts haven’t moved or been tampered with, which the mechanic could supply multiple pictures and videos or live video calls of. I get that issues and mistakes occur but when it’s costing the customer £600 it’s not really a service I would bother using.

My experience was great. very good, helpful communication, found and confirmed the proper Borg Warner turbo for the Mini JCW and supplied it at a great price. They even sourced a fitting kit and supplied it all to the garage working on the vehicle.

Usually responded by email within an hour or two. Had a pair of very difficult to find Borg Warner Turbos for Volvo Marine engines when no one in the US could get them. Great price, and shipped right away. When FedEx lost the original shipment, they expressed another pair direct from DE and even handled the claim and refund. Andy & Jaana took great care of me. Highly recommend.

items not in stock surprise. Not a good experience. Ordered a turbo and coming up that it is out of stock. Available the more expensive model. Asking for a full refund, let's see how long it will take to be reversed. however, the time is lost and the 5% bank commissions for the currency conversion are lost as well.
