Hi there, I'm sorry the first impression wasn't what you expected! What you're smelling is actually the tree resin - it's a natural ingredient we use alongside beeswax to keep it from becoming brittle, so the bag stays flexible and seals properly. It can smell a bit strong when the bag is brand new and freshly sealed in packaging. The good news is it does go away — just leave the bag open and aired out for a few days and the smell will fade. It doesn't transfer to the bread so no worries there! Our bags are made entirely from natural, food-safe materials - no chemicals involved.
Give it a try with your sourdough and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you have any issues at all, just reach out and I'll take care of it.

Hi there, I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. Two days is definitely not what you should expect from our bags - most customers see 5-6 days or more for homemade bread. A couple of things can cause this: if the bread was still warm when it went in (moisture gets trapped), or if it wasn't sealed tightly enough. That said, I completely understand the frustration.

I do want to clarify something for anyone reading: our bags are handmade overseas using natural beeswax, organic cotton, tree resin, and jojoba oil. I personally traveled to the production facility, handpicked the materials, and made sure the entire process meets food-grade standards. The reason we produce overseas is simple - if we made them in the US, they'd cost 3 to 4 times more, and we want to keep them accessible to everyone. The quality is something I stand behind 100%.

Regarding the shipping address issue, it sounds like something went wrong and I want to make that right.

Hey Kathy! So glad the bag is keeping the mold away 🙌 😊 A quick tip for drying out: make sure you're pushing all the air out and rolling the bag tight before fastening the buckle. That makes a big difference! Keeping it on the counter (not the fridge) helps too.
