I was happy to receive my order and it was great but I had to wait longer than originally expected and was not informed until I enquired as to why it hadn’t been delivered.

Absolutely dreadful website
Absolutely dreadful website. I was hoping to order a school blazer for my son. I tried to create an account but I was asked to enter the school’s LEA code. I looked this up and was informed that schools do not typically give out their LEA codes so I was unable to create an account be a it wouldn’t let me proceed without this information. How anyone orders anything online from this site is a mystery to me. I tried BE Uniforms instead and ordered the required blazer in less than 2 minutes.

The LEA code is used to help identify the correct school and uniform range supplied by "Trutex Direct" and can be found at the bottom of the School Specific Uniform List provided to parents. If it was a school specific item and you haven't had a Trutex Price List and you have managed to purchase it from BE, I doubt that we would have been able to supply this for you as we do not have any cross-over schools with them. If it was a plain item, you wouldn’t have needed to create an account. If this is the case we’d really appreciate it if you could contact us at td@trutex.com to confirm the school name and if we need to correct anything on our side. Our TrustPilot record means a lot to us and as you can see from the many 5 star reviews, our website provides an easy shopping experience for parents who are in receipt of their school specific log-in and password, which takes them directly to their school's items.
Our Customer Service team is always happy to assist with account setup or placing an order should this be required for your child's school uniform - whether by phone, email, or live chat.

The sizing is really inconsistent and…
The sizing is really inconsistent and can be quite confusing. If your child is even a bit bigger, I'd steer clear of the shirts since they're too long and the collar size only goes up to 14.5.
There’s no exchange service either, so unless you have a printer, you'll have to find a place to print the return label, which adds extra costs and hassle just to make a return. Plus, you’ll need to purchase the items again and wait for the refund to hit your bank, which is frustrating, especially after already spending over £100 on necessary school clothing. I really feel for parents who have more than one child and need to start back-to-school shopping from scratch.
The sizing and return policy need enhancement, especially the print-your-own label option, as few locations provide printing services. Additionally, returns labels should be included with the items as they were previously. Makes no sense to me 🤔

We are disappointed to read your review this morning; it is unusual for us to receive feedback regarding our school shirt sizes being inconsistent. We do offer bigger than a 14.5” collar, so would be intrigued to see what school you are ordering for so we can investigate further.
Returns labels are no longer included as we have become paperless to avoid unnecessary waste in an effort to continue our commitment to reducing our environmental impact. We have introduced a print at store option on our returns site so you no longer have to print the label, however if you had contacted the team we would have talked you through this or sent one to you in the post if required.
If you could get in touch with us with your order number we will be able to check which shirt you purchased so we can investigate and pass the information on to our Product Development team as we continue to review and improve our range.

Trutex school uniforms are brilliant. In particular the school trousers can't be beaten. Even after a full school year, they looked great- no saggy knees or weird shiny patches after washing. We're only replacing them due to another growth spurt, which means he's grown out of them - otherwise we’d easily get another year out of them. Highly recommended.

Very size inclusive.
Their sizes are very inclusive and fit very well , shirts don't go yellowish nor does the skirt fade.
