My partner and I were first time buyers, and were given the details of Tom Baxter by David Coates (the buyer agent we were working with on the Isle of Wight). We had no idea about the buying process, and were very much starting from the beginning.
I firstly contacted David, who passed on my details to Tom. Tom contacted me the same day and was brilliant at explaining the process simply for us to understand. We had approached a different mortgage advisor prior to this, who had shown us sky high interest rates as my partner did not have a good credit score at the time of buying. Tom managed to find a fantastic mortgage for us, low interest rate and from a well known high street lender. He got us a mortgage in principle so quickly which allowed us to be realistic with the properties we wanted to view and got things moving.
The whole process ran so smoothly with the help of Tom and David, and both were so reliable and quick to answer any questions or concerns. Tom also offered a video call (as we were on the IOW), so it was easy to share documents and talk through things.
He was there to support right up until we got our keys and beyond!
