The Trump International DC hotel and its staff with services, found in the old post office in Washington DC, far exceed any five rating that can be given. The beautiful, refreshingly clean hotel is more than they describe it to be.
We just spent Four nights celebrating a birthday and were handled with a professional loving care the entire stay.
It all began with a position assigned to Paul Wiggins taking surprise orders by phone from our grown children, a sister and one grandson to be in our room as we arrived. Everything from gift cards to cheese trays, a fruit basket and special individual cakes were in the planning.
Five employees were above and beyond, Alex the Asst on the Lobby Floor Services, Ali Merchant, the Attaché / Registration Front Desk Mgr, waiters Daniel and Oscar under the food service in the balcony and the Main Food Service Mgr. Who sought an employee for us.
Really all of the staff we encountered from a tech maintenance man who came to our room, the day and evening room service, the house keepers, the great Spa receptionist on Mon the 1st of April, and the young woman in the gift shop who did her best to apply a new gift card to our purchase, the door men, the security, the ladies who worked in the center of the lobby each night preparing the evenings appetizers, all were an amazing team who worked well together.
The GM and training are to be held in highest regard.
