I have had an EXTREMELY bad experience with Travels Hook.

I dealt with Muhammad Ali and Faiz Fareed, who were organising my Umrah trip, and my experience with them has been unacceptable. In my opinion, they were dishonest throughout the process and repeatedly failed to honour what was agreed.

If you are considering booking with this agency, NEVER PAY WITH BANK TRANSFER – ONLY CREDIT CARD. Even if you are paying in instalments, PAY WITH CREDIT CARD so you have your bank's protection if anything goes wrong.

We paid for our Umrah package in full, yet they changed our flights from EgyptAir to Wizz Air and expected us to accept just £50 per person as compensation.

Despite making FULL PAYMENT two months before our departure from the UK, they changed my hotel just 4 DAYS before I was due to fly. The replacement hotel was TWICE THE DISTANCE FROM THE HARAM and had a LOWER RATING, all WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

I was left with no real choice but to accept because they stopped responding to my emails and calls. I felt completely ignored at a time when I urgently needed answers.

I am due to fly in 2 DAYS, and based on how they have treated me so far, I HAVE NO HOPE THEY WILL SUPPORT ME IF I FIND ANY PROBLEMS OVER THERE.

I will update this review when I return from my trip to let others know how everything went.

Extremely Disappointed with Travelshook
My experience with Travelshook has been extremely disappointing.
I dealt with Muhammad Ali and Faiz throughout my booking. I booked and paid in full for an Umrah package based on the specific hotels listed on my invoice. I paid extra for Emaar Grand Hotel Makkah because I have medical problems and explained to Muhammad Ali from the beginning that I am unable to walk long distances.
One week before departure, I was informed that my original hotel had been changed to a much lower-rated hotel. I was not consulted or given the opportunity to agree to the change before the replacement hotel was booked.
When I checked online, I found rooms appearing to be available at the original hotel for my travel dates. I raised this with the company. During our discussion, I was told that the original hotel could still be booked, but only if I paid extra. This left me confused because I had previously been told the original booking could not be honoured due to a lack of availability.
The replacement hotel is approximately 1.5 km from the Haram, whereas the original hotel was around 750 metres away. Because of my medical condition and difficulty walking, this has caused me significant stress and anxiety about how I will manage during my Umrah.
I repeatedly asked for evidence to support the cancellation of the original hotel and tried to resolve the matter through email, WhatsApp and telephone. My messages and calls have gone unanswered, which has left me with little confidence that, if I experience any problems during my trip, Travelshook will provide the support or assistance I would expect.
In my opinion, this experience has been stressful and has left me feeling misled and let down. I expected the accommodation that formed part of the package I paid for, or at least a comparable alternative.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Travelshook.

I am currently to fly out on the 22nd July 2026 Muhammed Ali the one i have spoken to constantly has change my hotel last minute to a 2.7 rating on Trustpilot.
I would STRONGLY recommend to stay away from this company as Muhammed Ali is a habitual liar and gives false promises. Please save yourself the headache and book with a another travel agent. They constantly change your flights and accommodation stay well away from this company i am reaching out to Mian Touseef if he can resolve my problem NOW

FRAUD company ....fraud....totally unprofessional staff. they will make ur umrah journey really hard. i can share all the evidence if someone needed. but please don"t book with this agency at all.My family is stuck in Makkah can't even check in and this agency not even responding....
