Our family holiday to Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa, organized by Africa Geographic, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we reached out, Dave was attentive, professional, and genuinely passionate about crafting an experience that perfectly suited our family. Every detail was pre -arranged from seamless transfers and beautiful lodges to knowledgeable guides and unforgettable wildlife encounters. The itinerary struck the ideal balance between adventure and downtime, from the majesty of Victoria Falls to thrilling moments in Chobe National Park (including being charged by an elephant!) Dave communicated with me throughout. It was a journey filled with awe, laughter, and lifelong memories — one our family will cherish forever.

Benjamin was awesome to work with! We had no complaints when it came to anything on our trip and everything was taken care of. I would trust Benjamin and Africa Geographic with any of my trips. They truly made our honeymoon a breeze and unforgettable.

They put together a wonderful itinerary in Kenya and then to see the gorillas in Rwanda. When one of our traveler's luggage got stuck in Europe, Luis went above and beyond to reunite her with her things. He was responsive throughout the trip whenever we had a question. The animals were plentiful and entertaining, the guides and staff everywhere were warm and knowledgeable, our lodgings were comfortable and beautiful, and we would use Luis and Africa Geographic again and again.

Africa Geographic are the ULTIMATE in African trip planning! Thank you so much for our once in a lifetime experience! Our coordinators Dave and Ben were quick to answer questions and super helpful! It was worth every penny spent!! Every detail about this trip were seamless from each meal to every transfer. We have already recommended Africa Geographic to many folks. Our experience was unforgettable. We were on our honeymoon and Benjamin went the extra mile to make sure that everything was just perfect. It was a perfect balance between luxury and adventure and we felt like we really experienced the bush, mixing game dives on the vehicle and game drives on foot. We felt completely immersed in nature and we discovered so many things about the local traditions thanks to the wonderful guides and staff we had. It was just a dream and Benjamin was so present and attentive during the planning of the trip and also during the trip. We would definitely recommend Africa Geographic!!

Africa Geographic helped craft the perfect 60th Birthday trip for my husband. All the arrangements were made exactly as we asked and when we had a query during the trip they were immediately available with an answer. We'll definitely be using them again for future safaris!

Could not recommend Agrica Geographic highly enough!

Christian was fantastic at helping me find the perfect safari option to match our time and budget. He was incredibly patient and thorough with providing lots of fantastic options.

We decided to go for a mobile camping safari in Botswana and, to date, this has got to be one of our best trips! We saw 70 lions, 14 Hyena, 7 African wild dogs, 5 Leopards (including a cub!), 2 Cheetah and 1 African wild cat - and that's not even beginning on the numbers of zebra, deers, bucks, elephants, wildebeest and buffalo.

Christian went above and beyond at every stage, even helping us when we had issues with domestic flights in Botswana!

Been traveling with Africa Geographic for some time now and it has always been a fantastic experience. They take really good care of me and present me with awesome destinations.
This time was Selous and Ruaha National Parks in Tanzania. The camps were beautifully positioned, the management impeccable ad the food was delicious! Africa Geographic suggested the destination and planned it extremely well.

Africa Geographic through Stef (and his team) did a great job of putting together an itinerary that suited our needs. Stef definitely went the extra mile to ensure that the planning was spot on. We stayed suitable locations for our stopover, safari and Vic Falls experiences. The flights and connecting transfers went off without a hitch. Insider knowledge was invaluable. The follow through enhanced by the travel app was excellent. Love the fact that part of the proceeds goes towards nature conservation.

I cannot imagine a better way to customize a trip to Africa than with Africa Geographic. Dave listened to what we hoped to accomplish and patiently went back and forth with suggestions and itineraries until it was perfect.

Our trip to Tanzania and Kenya exceeded all of our expectations. The transfers all went smoothly and our guides were exceptional.

I wish I could give 10 stars.

We had a magnificent African Primates tour. Thank you Africa Geographic for putting it together and postponing all the bookings to a later date when an unforeseen medical emergency occurred on our side.

As expected the gorilla trekking and Nyungwe forest was a highlight but unexpectedly the Rwandan country side, culture and society turned out to be just as fascinating. We learnt so much. Thank you to our excellent driver and guardian, Gaston, who enhanced our experience through sharing and answering all our questions.

I am so glad we did not do a 3 day In-Gorilla-Trek-Kiwu-Lake-and-Out tour. We would have missed out on appreciating the magnificent country that Rwandans have fashioned out of the tragedy of the 1994 genocide.

We have one regret: that we did not buy lots more of the excellent Rwandan coffee and tea to bring home

I’ve just got home from my third travel experience planned with Africa Geographic which included my 5th art safari with Alison Nicholls. The first two comprised of two back-to back art safaris and this trip was a few days in Victoria Falls followed by the art safari at Bomani Tented Lodge, Hwange, Zimbabwe.
Christian booked my activities in Victoria Falls, arranged transfers to and from the airport and the activities which allowed me to focus on enjoying my time there without having to figure out how to get from A to B to C. There was a minor hiccup with my transfer to the hotel on arrival which was resolved. Christian followed up with the hotel because they forgot to collect me even though Christian had confirmed arrangements that morning. I received an apology bottle of JC Leroux sparkling wine from the hotel (turns out it is my favourite sparkling wine – thanks Christian) and was looked after extremely well for the remainder of my stay in Vic Falls.
The art safari was wonderful and I have only good things to say about the thought that went into planning this one. Africa Geographic donates a portion of the revenue from each safari to selected conservation projects and our group got to see first hand how our donated portion was put to use and how far reaching the impact will be. Visiting the Painted Dog Conservation Centre and the Community Rhino Conservation Initiative were highlights.
Alison Nicolls is very experienced in guiding these small-group art safaris and I always leave with more knowledge about animal anatomy and improved sketching and watercolour skills. I really appreciate her constructive and helpful feedback while sketching from the game drive vehicle or during the mid-day workshops back at the lodge. In between the (serious work of) sketching or painting, there’s plenty of time for laughter and great conversations.
Brendan, our guide at Bomani Tented Lodge was excellent and shared his knowledge about the area, people, animals, insects and plants with us. He was attentive to the needs of sketchers and ensured we had plenty of time to sketch (although not all animals are willing subjects). We had some incredible sightings, experiences and sketching opportunities.
I’ve already booked my next art safari for 2026 in the Okavango Delta, Botswana and am looking forward to another exciting sketching adventure with Alison and Africa Geographic.

What a fabulous time we had in South Africa booked seamlessly through Ro and Linda at Africa Geographic company.
Our trip was to Madiwke national park where we stayed for 3 nights. The lodge was very welcoming, beautiful place to stay within the park and the food was so varied and delicious. The game drives exceeded our expectations and we have many photos of it and got close up views of the animals. A shout out to our safari guide Ashley who shared all his knowledge of the animals and he was a real polite gentleman. And of course to Heidi, the lodge manager who had a lovely birthday cake for me on my 60th birthday.
Our internal flights to get to Cape town ran very smoothly and we were then picked up punctually and stayed at the Queen Victoria hotel in Cape Town for 3 nights. What a lovely place! We visited all the "to do" sites there including Table mountain, Boulders beach and Robben Island. A big thank you to Lloyd, whom we booked for 1 day to drive us around the town, through AG.
All in all, a fabulous itinerary made to our liking. Thank you AG and I would highly recommend them..
