Blaming and ignoring the customer.
TL;DR: I ordered the wrong option and customer service was unhelpful and unprofessional.
Case:
I was under the impression I was ordering certified documents but did not. I made a mistake because of the website design, which led me to believe I was selecting services under the Certified Translation category.
After receiving the translations, (which were on schedule and accurate) I realized they were not certified and contacted customer service, explained my mistake, and offered to pay the difference for the certified documents.
My request was rejected. Additionally, the staff pointed out that I had used their site previously (it was over 2 years ago) and implied I should have known if the document was certified or not. The only option available for me was to repay for 2 new certified documents, wasting the money I had just spent.
Finally I need to add that I've requested a refund per their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee and have yet to get a refund or response from their 'customer service'.
Issue with TranslationPal:
In the 2 times I have used TranslationPal, customer service has pointed the blame at me, the customer, for any issues which arise, instead of taking a professional approach and working to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction. I think this is poor staff training on TranslationPal's part, and shows a lack of empathy for the customer. The website is confusing and misleading.
If you decide to use TranslationPal, be sure you are selecting a certified document!

There are many online translation companies available, I'm more than happy to take my business elsewhere (which I have).
You are getting money from your customers.
Please reconsider the meaning of 'customer service', and find a way to help them instead of pointing out their technical errors made on your site, and ignoring them when they request a refund.
When I used your service 2 years ago, the translator made several mistakes on the translation, which required additional work and time to resolve. There was no compensation for me then, so why does TranslationPal hold different standards for the customer?
