My experience with Training Works has genuinely been a really positive one. Completing my Level 5 Leader in Adult Care qualification was a big commitment, but having the right support around me made a huge difference.

From the beginning, the assessors were approachable, knowledgeable and, most importantly, genuinely interested in helping me succeed. Each assessor brought their own experience and way of looking at things, which helped me to understand the role of a care leader from different perspectives. That support played a big part in helping me achieve a distinction.

For me, the qualification was about much more than simply completing the work. It gave me the opportunity to reflect on my own practice, develop my understanding of leadership in adult social care and think more about the impact we have on the people we support and the staff we work alongside.

There were times when balancing work, studying and everything else wasn’t easy, but the team at Training Works were always there when I needed guidance or a bit of encouragement. They were willing to explain things, point me in the right direction and give me the confidence to keep going when I probably needed it most.

Looking back now, I’m really proud of what I achieved and grateful for the support I received along the way. The knowledge and experience I’ve gained through the qualification will stay with me in my role, and I hope I can use what I’ve learned to support others in the same way I’ve been supported.

A huge thank you to everyone at Training Works for all your help, encouragement and belief in me. Achieving a distinction is something I’m really proud of, and I couldn’t have done it without the support I received throughout the journey.
