My 2 shelves Arrived on time and were exactly as I expected. You can tell they are well made and look perfect in my bedroom. Easy to put up and all the fixings are supplied within the package. One very satisfied customer.

Cautious to get the right colour i ordered 3 extortionate samples costing £1 each for a very tiny piece (unlike floor companies who send several large pieces free) I chose one, and comparing it to every picture I could find ordered rugger brown. I wanted a darkish colour, but what came can only be described as mid oak. Many shades different to the sample. My husband does woodwork, i fully understand natural products can vary, but it shouldn't have been that much difference! Which upon contacting them was the excuse i was given. Apparently rugger brown is just a wax, not a stain. They did offer to send me a sample pot of the wax for another coat which I dont feel would have made much difference. (Or return it, at my own cost ...) my husband sanded it, I bought a "dark oak" stain, 2 coats and wax was enough to be like the sample i was sent. So beware if you want anything darker than a medium oak, and dont bother wasting money on samples which are nothing like the beams look.

I have 2 shelves already which I purchased end of February ,they are absolutely lovely, I was so impressed with them that I ordered another one straight away. They are beautifully made and finished. Having the brackets come with them is very handy and they are also very heavy and well made.

All I can say is brilliant - excellent service, arrived quickly and are such beautiful wood. All the instructions for putting the shelves up were easy to follow and took into account any/all wall types too. Thank you

Although I ordered a beam that was advertised as reclaimed it had very little character unlike the pictures on the website. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely looking beam just not as gnarly as the pictures suggest I should expect so I am a little disappointed

We have beam boxes made by Traditional Beams. We are extremely happy with the quality of materal they have used. Solid wood of excellent quality has been used which has given an amazing finish.
The quality of work is of highest level. They have best craftsmen in my opinion.
One of the beam got damaged in transit. Traditional Beams have been exellent and have replaced the damaged beam box with a newly made one.
We have no hesitation in recommending them.
I cannot thank enough to David, who was very helpul and supportive during thd whole process.

There were 3. The mounting holes did not match up which made the installation more complicated than it needed to be but they finally up and look great!

I am thrilled with my mantel beam it’s beautiful. From ordering and delivery the process was faultless. The friend who came to install it however messed up and bent one of the floating brackets despite the very clear fitting instructions. To make matters worse I ordered the wrong sized replacement kit. Spoke to a very nice and helpful lady who sent out the correct size free of charge.
You cannot get better customer service than that. I would highly recommend this company, the beam exceeded my expectations and the quality is amazing.

Well made oak beam. Not too difficult to fit. Good that the instructions were given. Looks great over the fireplace.
