Terrible customer service. Purchased a tent a few months ago, ripped on first use, no storms or anything crazy. Torpedo 7 wont answer my emails

Absolutely disgusting customer on line service as no service at all.
No tracking ID,order pending from 4 weeks ago,totally uncontactable via all avenues.
Emails bounce back, on line chat totally useless.
I don't think Torpedo 7 will receive this review as email address is not able to be delivered.
Please think twice before placing an on line order.
I feel I have lost my money.
Straight up fraud, selling used items as new.
Purchased a new gym rack.
When opened it was obviously used and also missing a large metal leg so my “new” rack is totally unusable.
Told me it was an issue with the warranty which is an absolute joke, it’s a used item not properly repackaged and with missing parts, it’s torpedo 7 issue with processing returns.
They have no idea who long it will take to replace my rack after talking with reps.
Edit:
Torpedo7 replaced the items I purchased with a new set. The rack is great, the purchasing experience could be improved.
Poor online service
Waiting over a month for an order to be sent. No reply via phone or multiple emails. Very poor service.

Tracking shows that the order was dispatched but Mainfreight confirmed that this only means that they have received paperwork. They implied that the order may not have been sent (it sounded like they were fielding similar calls). Tried calling T7 again today - their phones are now offline. Doesn't bode well. I've never had any problems with orders until 2024.
Still waiting over a month for online…
Still waiting over a month for online bike purchase. Called customer care a handful of times and never got to talk to anyone because the wait time keeps extending. Live chat is also crap, nobody calls you! Store destined for recieving bike "can't do anything either as it was purchased online" After reading all these other reviews there's an obvious problem the company ain't willing to address.

Companies not worth a dollar
Companies not worth a dollar. There is a reason this company recently sold for $1. The current owners dont have any money and to sell it requires some money to change hands. The deals may seem half decent but their stock system is the worst thing i have ever encountered. Over multiple orders it became apparent they cant track orders, have no idea whats in stock and dont have enough staff to deal with the maelstrom of errors spiralling out of this company. Hopefully the new owners can sort it out. Until then, if you like your money not being in your account, having to manage your own order to get your money back for the items that wont be in stock and the items that wont be delivered then this is the company for you. Otherwise buyer beware!!
2 weeks after payment no delivery
2 weeks after payment in stock item not shipped even though I chased up after a week and a half. Took 15 minutes of waiting on the phone to connect to customer services so I could ask for a refund. This i am told will take 2-5 working days...

Order placed one month ago, and it still says "pending". Emailed customer service a week ago, still no response. I am starting to worry I will never get my $285 back.
Torpedoed my order
I’ve just read these reviews and I agree, 1 star is too good a rating. I wish I’d discovered these reviews earlier. I've been dealing with this since January. If you’re using click and collect make sure to check your packages in store, I picked up an order went home only to discover that 1 item was missing. I have been told by customer service that all items were collected. I have followed up multiple times and only had two replies, repeating the same line, ‘you have collected all items.’ I have no reason to lie about it but obviously it's my word against theirs, apparently computer systems can’t make mistakes. I guess I will take the L on this one, it’s a minimal amount but who knows how many times this has happened to others.

My son has purchased a bike and after 5 weeks is waiting he is busting to ride. I called into the store to find out the delay and get told that it is still in transit just like the day we bought it. This is rubbish and I doubt that they even have the bike to give to us now, I believe a lot of their clearance items are a con. They have our money for nothing and frankly I’m pissed. This is terrible service, 5 complaints lodged and counting and I have received zero response. Companies like this complain about their profits then treat their customers like problems. F this company, I hope they collapse and the independents can be back able to compete on prices
Worst customer service ever …
Worst customer service ever …. No wonder they are being sold at a loss. Ordered something online … taking forever…. Making up excuses, putting me on hold mid sentence (cutting me off). Take the money straight away but making up excuse after excuse about it being sent. Told it’s now coming from another store after being told it was coming from a different one yesterday (store was rung while I was on hold and my local store). This was after being on hold over 20 mins just to be answered. Now told the store it’s coming from has 200 orders to get out out and they can’t prioritise mine. Then I insisted that I want it followed up with store ….. he said he would and see “IF” it can be sent out … not “IT WILL” !!!!!!!! Then told maybe it would be better if I made the 60km round trip to pick it up 😡 ….. I work full time and going overseas end of week-end …. Thought 2 weeks would be plenty of time to get it when my local store online had my item when I ordered. This happened at Christmas too …. I should have learned….. waited over 3 weeks only to be told they had no record of anything been done even though they could see my order. I ended up having to drive into a store to collect as it was a gift.
Terrible customer service and logistics
Most companies can execute click-and-collect for items in stock fairly quickly. However, this wasn't the case for Torpedo 7. I purchased an item online for pickup at the Northlink Store, which supposedly had the item in stock.
I waited for 15 days for confirmation that I could pick it up. When I finally went to the store and inquired with a staff member about the availability of the item, they confirmed its presence. I then presented my order number and asked if they could process my order.
The person I spoke with suggested that Torpedo 7 might not have processed the order because I had to wait for them to transfer (something they already had all along) from another location to the store, which seemed absurd.
Ultimately, he processed my order and provided me with the item I had paid for. However, the individuals responsible for ordering, processing software, and logistics at Torpedo 7 seem to lack competence in their respective fields.
Despite incurring financial losses, they exhibit no sense of urgency to rectify their poorly managed operations and abysmal customer service.
The rudest arrogant staff member
I had the worst experience with one staff member at the bike hire\workshop in Queenstown, didn't get his name but he's tall and forgien, maybe Canadian, the rudest most arrogant jerk I've ever come across in retail, left the shop without even getting any help, spoke to me like i was nothing, never go there again!
Atrocious customer service
Where to start with this company. I have been let down by them multiple times. Their customer service is atrocious If I could select 0 stars for a review I would. Bought a very expensive bike from their nelson branch that has given issues from the moment I bought it. It is now it’s 4th time failing for the same issue. Trying to get anyone to answer the phone is impossible. Go into the store and they avoid you. They take months to get back to you when they are finally trying to sort the issue after my last experience, I was constantly chasing them. Trying to get hold of them now for the current issue is still a problem. I would not recommend this company to anyone. DO NOT SUPPORT THEM.
Poosr customer service. Click and collect itema such a hassle
Poor customer service in store and also they do not contact you for collection of the item. Always check the items inside the box that you have collected as some items are missing. And then you need to drive back to the store. What a terrible experience from them. So much hassle on customers side. No apologies too.
Ordered a flouro cycling vest online…
Ordered a flouro cycling vest online Feb 2nd, on click and collect when we went through Nelson a while ago. Called today Mar 2nd and it's just been dispatched from the warehouse. I can get bikes or gear delivered from Europe in half that time. They have the same thing in store but would not let us take that. Grumpy staff is store, no surprise they lost $22million last year.
Would never support them again.
Terrible Customer Service
Ordered a Medicine Ball in NOVEMBER.
Went to the Albany store three times to see if it had arrived, eventually to finally be told they had no order for it. Apparently there was a muck up in the system.
Waited another month, called customer services who then told me they had no stock and would reimburse the cost and send a $50 voucher for the trouble.
A week later, receive an email stating exactly the same thing the girl on the phone said, no ball, reimbursement coming. I emailed back querying the $50 voucher.
No reply to date.
It's now MARCH.
I would not recommend ordering online for Torpedo7 to anyone.
Horrible Experience
Bought a product in December, but was never emailed anything about the order other than the order number have had to call multiple times to now sort this order out. It's now almost March and I have called 5 times, I still have not received my refund although I have been promised by multiple customer service staff.
