Customer Service done right!
I had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Yuexiao at Tom Ford in Frasers, Glasgow. From start to finish, her service was exceptional. She has an incredible knowledge of the products and instantly understood what would suit me best. The fragrance she recommended was a perfect match, and she also guided me to the ideal lip colour with such skill and attention to detail.
What really stood out was how genuine and effortless the experience felt – there was absolutely no hard sell, just honest, thoughtful advice. Yuexiao made the whole visit a delight, and I left feeling confident and truly looked after. She is a real credit to Tom Ford and Frasers, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return to see her again.

Long-time Tom Ford customer let down by aftercare
I’ve been wearing Tom Ford sunglasses for over 15 years and have always admired the quality and design. Sadly, my recent experience has been very disappointing.
After buying the Tom Ford Dimitry sunglasses, I found the presentation box was poor quality: the glue inside was already peeling off, and the box wouldn’t close properly because it seemed the wrong size for this model. I returned to Sunglass Hut, who were helpful and replaced the box, but unfortunately, the replacement had exactly the same issues.
When I raised this with Tom Ford directly, instead of offering a solution they simply referred me to Marcolin (their current manufacturer). Marcolin then informed me that they don’t deal with customers directly, only with businesses. This made me wonder why Tom Ford would refer a loyal customer to a company that doesn’t offer any direct support.
As someone who’s been loyal to the brand for many years, I expected far better aftercare and accountability, especially for a premium product. It’s disappointing that a brand known for luxury design appears to have lost focus on quality control and customer experience.

I purchased a pair of glasses from the GKB company Lower Parel phoenix (Mumbai) and I was very Disappointed with my experience…while the initial consultation was fine , the frame quality is extremely poor..a small amount of colour came out and I got skin rashes behind my ears …they r charging me 15k for changing the frame which I bought for 35k a year back before …we r ready to pay some amount but 15k don’t u find it too much… as a profession I’m a Orthopeadic doctor we keep washing and scrubbing all the time …I hope this should not be an reason ..I raised a complaint it’s been a 2 months now I’ve written plenty honest emailed them many times but the customer service was also unhelpful when i contacted them about the issue … I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for durable glasses or good customer service.

Paid for overnight shipping June 3, it’s June 6, and I’m still waiting
Place my order online June 3, 2025 at 6:19 in the morning and paid for overnight shipping. I received the UPS tracking number at 2:32 PM later that day. June 4, 2025 my order, still had not shipped. I called customer service they said they could not cancel the order, you only have one hour after you purchase to cancel an order. I asked why my order had not been shipped overnight as that’s what I paid for. They had no answer. They said that they would refund me for the overnight shipping. I have not seen a refund. Today is June 6, and I’m still waiting on my order to be delivered and my refund. For Tom Ford to be a luxury brand they’re online shopping and customer service experience is beyond shady.

I have to say, every person I dealt with, was polite & professional & very friendly. Very knowledgeable answering my questions, particularly Georgina. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she answered all my questions about the different fragrances. Very happy. Would definitely recommend. Thank you. Samantha .

Estee Lauder ruined the brand.
Poor quality since buy out
Over the years I have found their products hit or miss. The one product that I always bought and loved was the liquid eyeliner. I wear it every day. HOWEVER since Estee lauder bought TF cosmetics the quality has gone down. Previously the liquid eyeliner would stay on all day, and occasionally all night. Now it smudges by afternoon. In additionot lasts less than a month, previously I could nearly get 4 months out of it. All this in addition to a 20 Euro increase in the price.
Save your money, better products out there.
Disappointing Tom Ford online store UK
I recently bought a fragrance from the Tom Ford online store. I usually purchase all my Tom Ford fragrances through a retailer in our local department store. They always provide samples with my purchases. The fragrance that I last bought was a gift and there were no fragrances samples included and was very disappointed. I will not be buying from Tom Ford online anymore.
Nice fragrances, low performance
Nice fragrances albeit with a low performance life. Have gotten worse since they were taken over by Estée Lauder; fragrances I used to love like Noir De Noir now last half the time and cost c.20% more.
Extremely disappointing customer service
I purchased a pair of Tom Ford glasses from Pretavoir 18 months ago as a gift to myself, and while I absolutely loved them—both for their style and comfort—I am beyond disappointed with their durability and the lack of customer support.
I wear glasses every day as I can’t wear contacts, so they were always on my face and treated with care. Despite being under a supposed two-year warranty, the frames broke just ten days ago. I reached out for a replacement, only to be told that Tom Ford is refusing to honor the warranty, claiming there are “signs of forced use.” This is completely untrue—I am the only person who has worn them, and while I accept that they were worn daily, a £180 pair of glasses should last significantly longer than 18 months!
The refusal to replace them feels unfair and unacceptable. When you invest in a high-end brand, you expect both quality and customer service to match. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning both Tom Ford’s product durability and their aftercare service. I won’t be buying from them again, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before making a similar purchase.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Bought an item on the 2nd of December only to be told on the 18th of December it was out of stock. It took me numerous emails and phone calls to get an update. Customer care lied and said the item had been dispatched when it hadn’t. Staff are rude and obnoxious. I bought a similar item on YSL and it arrived the next day. Do t waste your time or money with this company.
Terrible service and communication and product
Terrible service, communication and product. Long standing customer, and this has been nothing short of a disgrace. After waiting 12 days for delivery they sent out a used bag instead of a new one. Clearly heavily used. Packaged awfully, no box etc. After many emails and promise of call backs…nothing!! Still not resolved. Will not be using moving forward. On a positive note…went to Saint Laurent, delivery in 2 days…beautifully packaged and a brand new product!!!

Both nose pads fell off within 6 months of my new pair. I went to 7 opticians and they all said they can't repair them because the nose pads are too small. So my new glasses are useless to me now. Don't buy Tom Ford.
