I've just completed my registration with tiney, and they have been incredibly helpful throughout the process! They helped me so much with stepping into the world of childminding. Appreciate it!

My registration visit was such a pleasant experience. I was made to feel so at ease and supported. The tiney team are a wonderful group who are truly there to support, guide and assist in anyway possible.

Excellent Support & Guidance from Tiney – Highly Recommended!

At first, I was hesitant to join Tiney because I had never heard of them before. Starting a childminding business felt overwhelming—I didn’t know where to begin, what the process involved, or how to navigate all the responsibilities that come with working with children. Doing it alone seemed scary, but joining Tiney turned out to be the best decision.

From the start, my advisor, Chloe, has been absolutely amazing. She has been incredibly supportive and always there whenever I needed help. The training process was smooth, and the guidance I received made everything much clearer. I initially thought I wasn’t ready, but Chloe believed in me and gave me the push I needed to register sooner than I expected—which was exactly what I needed.

Tiney provides great reassurance and peace of mind, especially for those who are new to childminding and unsure of where to start. They ensure you have all the policies, training, and support necessary to set up and run your business confidently. Even the inspection process was well-organised, and the theory call was handled professionally, which made the experience much less stressful.

Overall, I’ve had a fantastic experience with Tiney. The team is professional, supportive, and excellent at communicating every step of the process. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to start a childminding business but feeling unsure of the journey ahead.

Paid £300 registration fee
Paid £75 for GP Consultation call that was only 3 minutes long, and the person was on a bus or something. Was expecting alot more for a £75 consultation, that was a 3 minute video call.
Paid £80 for the First Aid training.
Keep in mind they also take 12% of your earnings.
The discover page was rather useless as nobody responded to my posts.

It's a very expensive process. Unfortunately, I didn't pass my registration visit and was told on the day that Tiney may look at the results and may reschedule or reconsider. However, this wasn't true as I've lost access to my account.

I paid quite a hefty sum for this "training" and could've had a cheaper experience If i had listened to the reviews here and gone with Ofsted or with the council instead.

If you are planning to register with Tiney, reconsider your financial requirements and go with another angency or your council or ofsted themselves. It's not worth the amount of money you will pay to be dropped off at a hat.

The childminder we found worked through an agency - tiney so we didn’t really have a choice but to use this agency.
So far happy with the service- disappointed that the customer service appears to have been outsourced to the Philippines as getting a response from the customer service team took about 3 working days for a reply and considering this is care for my child it’s actually quite shocking.

I have just registered as a childminder with tiney and the whole experience has been so so good! The support from tiney is amazing, everyone is so helpful and the resources they have pre and post registration is phenomenal. Hopefully this all continues now I'm registered!

Great place to work with. I joined tiney a year ago. Wasn’t sure if I will be good enough to became childminder but they assure me that I’m already doing a job as I’m mum myself. So happy I joined I learn a lot and became childminder today I work with 5 children and I’m so happy to see them coming to me with a big smile on them faces. I worked in early years for around a year before I decided I would like to become a child minder. I wanted to make my own decisions. Those that were right for the children.

I'm not sure I would have had the confidence to do it without the support from Tiney.

Hi I don't understand the game tiney is playing here!You guys asked me all the necessary questions you need, and told me I succeeded with the safe guarding checks only to get up today after all the heavy money paid to you and after few training modules you just locked off.Is this how you encourage people to become what they want?I am very disappointed with this company to be honest.

I've been a tiney childminder since 2020 and I always say I never would have had the courage to become a childminder without tiney. Every person I've ever met from tiney has such a passion for the early years. I'd be lost without the support, amazing CPD offered and the community. I also want to mention book club because it's one of the best perks. The sessions are so well planned and always engaging, even for my group of very little ones. The tiney tips for activity ideas along it are really helpful and save me all the time if I'm feeling I need a boost of inspiration.

The fact that I see my son coming home smiling every after each nursery session makes me to understand that he's doing fine.

I'm new to childminder's, so coming across Tiney was just by chance and I'm grateful I did. Cause Jeneita has been an absolute angel with my child, ensuring safety, kindness, joy, great intellectual learning, fun and lovely journalling so you can see what your child been up to and eating. She also has a keen eye for detail, great communication and listening skills for parent and child giving you peace of mind when you're new.
