i needed a key cut for my motorcycle . i bought a genuine kawasaki key blank which is also chipped from a kawasaki dealership, still in original packaging unopened . i presented this along with my main key hoping to get it cut but i was told it was company policy that he could not use the key blank i had got even though it was obviously a genuine item . poor company and attitude , certainly would not recommend at all .

Recently bought a vehicle that came with a blanket spare key.
Whet to Timpsons to get it cut but was refused because we didn't buy the key from them .
We offered them full price and said they could keep there key but was still refused.
It maybe company policy but the mind boggles🤯

I had a casio baby G battery replaced. It then fogged up in the shower (not even in a bath). It wpuld appear that it was not resealed properly after the battery was replaced. I have now been without a watch for 3 weeks as the shop had to send it to their service centre - in what world will a digital watch that has been exposed to condensation due to ill fitting seal work properly. I have so far not even been offered the cost of the replacement battery, for which I foolishly added lifetime guarantee. I am really angry at the service.
I have not heard anything from them yetregarding wither its condition or any next steps if it is broken.

Called into Timsons Wolverhampton Mander Centre as passing at the time and needed a pair of boot laces. A 'WHOPPING' and a totaly 'SHOCKING' £4.50 !!!!! For a pair of laces ????? They probably cost Timsons 2p from China !!!
Will i be using Timsons again ??? They can dream on and stick it where the sun doesn't shine !!!!!

At very short notice I visited your store in Sainsbury Otford, I had purchased two watches as retirement gifts, and wanted to personalise with engraved plaque for each one, the staff couldn't have done more to help me, Gary was amazing, showed and advised me what would work best with the presentation box, gave a choice of engraved fonts, he even glued the plaque in place for me, all this in a very short space of time, he called me to let me know they were ready to collect, I have nothing but praise, I will certainly recommend to friends and family, great job, thank you. Almost forgot to say how professional and friendly the staff were.

Took a pair of blue velvet curtains in for dry cleaning (cost £65). Upon receipt absolutely no difference, no removal of stains, and a minor food stain was still evident. I then removed this with my nail and damp cloth - did they do anything? No explanation re stains - 'we tried this or that'. Branch no 5069, ticket no. PTA700.

I took my watch into the Truro shop at the end of March 2023 for a new watch strap and glass. I was charged £80 and the watch was sent away for repair. I have collected the watch three times and returned it twice so far with faults caused by poor workmanship, no quality control and the repair not checked. I have collected the watch today (third time) and found one of the four screws which hold the back of the watch in place missing. I totally despair at the devastatingly poor quality of the service I have received and am seriously worried that my Junkers watch will never be the same again. Anthony Basnett

Regularly use the Timpsons dry cleaning service at the Morrisons store in Maidstone. Used to be four items cleaned for £25. Turned up yesterday was told that the price had now increased to £30, a 20% increase when inflation we are told is running at circa 10%. On top of this they now charge an additional 20p for the plastic covers the dry cleaning is returned in or £1.99 if you want the fabric one. This is taking the P... This is just sheer profiteering by company accountants. More and more companies are jumping on the band wagon & increasing prices by exorbitant amounts thinking that the public will except it. Well this one won't, I will be looking for a new provider & would urge everyone else to do the same.

I'm in my 80s my wife in her 70s recovering from fall, weather today around 1 degree, very cold. Drove into Witney today an my car key would not lock the car,it was fine when started it, but without warning it stopped working, My wife stayed in the car While I went to the local Timsons for a replacement battery, I wasn't completely sure if they could change the battery, the shop worker was chatting to the customer in front of me about grandparents in there 80s so I excused myself and asked if it was possibly to change the battery in the car key. I was told "It's one customer at a time." meaning wait your turn, not even making eye contact. When it was my turn I explained my situation to him and was told "Yes that's no problem come back in 11/2 hrs and it will be ready, no there are other customer you must take your turn and it will cost £19.99." so I took the key off him, left my wife sitting in the cold car and walked home for the spare key.

Poor Customer relations - The Operator who is currently manning the outlet in the ASDA in Dunfermline has got to have one of the worst attitudes i have ever come across, he was rude, abrupt slammed keys onto the countertop. Was clearly having a strop as When asked to cut key he was bang doors, mumbling under his breath and was coming across as if he just didn't care if i was a paying customer or not

I went into the Timsons shop in the Tesco store in Shirley , Solihull to get a new car key cut for my 1979 jeep . I was told they did not stock the blank of the key needed and suggested I order from America and bring the blanks in to be cut. It took me six months to find and then ship at a cost of over 100£ for two keys including duty and postage. I returned to the new shop where there was a different man working there . He refused to cut the blank keys , even though he knew what I was told , disgusting !

Went to the one inside Sainsbury, Castle marina, Nottingham to have 2 links taken out of my watch. Not only did he struggle to take the pins out, he proceeded to hammer on the pin to get it back in nearly damaging my watch in the process. No idea how to do the job. Incidentaly the store was extremely untidy. My advice, go to a professional watch repair store.

Don’t bother bother considering this lot for clothes alterations. I put a pair of trousers in for alteration. They told me it would take two weeks. It’s now into the 5th week and fourth trip to the store but my trousers are still not ready. What a shambles!!

Any chance that somebody could answer the phone! Timsons Goole!

TOO HIGH PRICES. Over the years seen them buy out every small independant shop and increase their prices. Now extorinate costs on shoe repairs and key cutting.

That said, really like their model of employment, so one more star. Service is great in one shop but iffy in another.

Took a watch in for repair 2.5 weeks ago. Was told it would be fixed in 3 days. Went back, watch not fixed and person doing repair not in. Left my phone number so they could call. I called 5 times before they picked up. Said it would be fixed in 2 days. Went in to collect. Not fixed. Left phone number again and they said they would call. Trying to call again to find out the problem. No answer and they pickup and put down the phone. Really poor service from Timpsons in Altrincham.

said before timsons over priced but today paid 25 quid for 4 pretty standard door keys at tesco high woods colchester aman in shop had been quoted £9.50 to take links from watch told the guy branch in colchester charge £7.50 the reply was go there then this is not a franchise i charge as i like as i am the manager over priced rude poor customer relations i wish b&q still did keys timsons seem to have the monopoly since discovered b&q restarted key cutting these keys would have been around £10 -15
