Bought 2 providence storage benches at £100 each, we opened one and found the drawers were virtually impossible to move and the quality generally was very poor. Both were returned in their original (UNDAMAGED) condition and packaging. One apparently arrived damaged and whitelighthouse refused to refund the £100. The courier (UPS) also refused to accept responsibility. The now worthless and useless bench was then sent back to us.! We're now £100 down andl left with an item we can't use. Disgusting way to treat customers, both Whitelighthouse and UPS effectively giving us the two fingers. Appalling. Will never use Whitelighthouse again and will avoid UPS where possible too in future.

Love all the grey and white and at prices I can afford

2 stars awarded as the image did do the piece justice and it did look good but the products timber used is quite simply terrible. Very light (not dense) wood which I would not trust to sit on; considering it was a seat, sadly, it defeats its purpose. I wouldn't trust to purchase another product through them in fear of getting another cheaply made product. good for a photo shoot but for an actual practical use - useless.

Bathroom drawers look exactly like the picture, but the quality is poor. Id say a £60 product, not £125. Still, it looked nice. Packaging was defective and consequently two wicker drawers were damaged. I asked the company to replace the drawers. Their response was to ask me to complete a long form and send photos, which I did within the hour. The company replied saying the product was not broken, but that I could return it for a refund at my cost. On checking their returns policy, I see that I'd be responsible for ensuring it was well packaged to prevent any damage in transit. Given that its already damaged and based on my experience and those of other reviewers, I suspect I'd be down PnP costs, no drawers and a reduced refund. Don't bother.

I ordered a bathroom cabinet, unfortunately it arrived slightly damaged, I think it must have been dropped by the driver, I emailed The White Lighthouse and sent them a photo. They got back to me within three minutes to organise a collection. Was unfortunate but they sorted it very quickly so can't fault

Was shocked when I say this was in Belfast usually all websites say do not deliver etc. so called in yesterday. I actually bought a lot more than I should but no complaints. Shop isn't up to much as apparently it is mostly used for photos of new items but staff friendly and helpful.

Just bought my first house. Decorated our bedroom in white, bought my girlfriend a dressing table and tables for beside the bed. Love it ! Will definitely buy more.

I ordered a bathroom cabinet and stool to match. The cabinet could not be assembled as the base was too wide for the back to fasten on without modification and the paintwork was marked on the front door of the cabinet and very noticeable as the unit was white. I sent the cabinet back, willing to accept a replacement at first, but stated at the time that if my order couldn't be fulfilled entirely that I would have to send the stool back too as one item was no good without the other. White Lighthouse Furniture claimed there was nothing wrong with the cabinet and chose to refund my money minus postage, but have since refused to refund my money for the stool aswell, even though they received notice of this within the legal time limit to return goods bought over the Internet. The stool itself developed faults in the first few days of having it too, with the lid not closing properly and paintwork coming off the side of it, but the company have said I caused the damage! Unbelievable!!

Update: In the end I was forced to pursue my refund through the Small Claims Court for breach of contract when the company failed to respond to telephone calls and emails. Once the company received the court action paperwork they refunded my money and there was no need to go through the legal process. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Literally the best buy ever! Lovely grey side board bought online wasnt sure the colour would match but looked right on phone. Arrived 30 mins ago and is absolutely perfect.

Bought 2 items of furniture which we were pleased with except one of the legs (which come separately) on the Westport White Bathroom cabinet had a slight manufacturing defect. The bolt in one of the legs was not square so it would not screw flush to the base of the cabinet. All I wanted customer service department to do was arrange for another leg to be sent to me and I was happy to then return the defective leg so that they could take the matter up with their suppliers. After several fruitless emails I was advised to send the entire cabinet back (at my expense) and if they thought there was a problem with it they would give me a refund. All I wanted was a replacement leg but in my opinion the so called customer service department could not be bothered to make any effort to resolve this matter.
