Karen was amazing
Karen was great. I was downsizing from a three bedroom house. Karen helped sort out what needs throwing out, what was to be kept,what can go to charity. She bagged and boxed everything. Arranged charity collection, and house clearance. Checked in over the phone to make sure all ok. Couldn’t be more grateful and very thankful to her.

£1000 for 13 hours
I was surprised that for £1000 it only entitled me to 13 hours of help. Part of this was travel time which was an hour each way. So for the 2 hours I had at home, an extra 4 hours (making a total of 6 hours ) was allocated to travel and going to the charity shop.

We are sorry to read your review of our services, especially since both you and your husband were very happy at the time. Upon investigating your comments, we can confirm that no travel time was charged, as we simply do not do that, and the 6 hours billed were solely for our moving support services. However, as you booked our services through your chosen retirement home/village, we do recommend that you raise the pricing directly with themselves as this was not invoiced by ourselves.
Dawn Rowley was a gem
Dawn Rowley was a gem. Nothing was too much trouble and her help and advice was invaluable. Made what could have been a very difficult move so much easier. Would not hesitate to recommend her to a friend.

‘The Senior Move Partnership’ provided an excellent service in respect of sorting and packing the contents of my house and disposing of smaller items to charity shops. They also helped to unpack and store items on the day. Very well organised, professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend their services.

Indispensable
Because of ill health, without Doris's (Senior Move's representative's) help I do not think my house move would have happened. That is partly because of her practical support: arranging for the disposal of items on Ebay, for example, and arranging for the disposal of my large number of books. But also her moral support and encouragement together with down to earth advice.
