Delicious food and friendly staff! Our server Lizzie was lovely, very warm and helpful!

I used to absolutely love going to the lounge when we lived in Hove, now we live on the Isle of Of Wight and I was very pleased to find out when one opened in Newport.

I’ve been to many lounges over the years, however I’ve noticed there has been a real deterioration in the restaurant chain and this is over several factors.

Recently I went with my daughter to the one in Newport on the Isle of Wight. I love the decor, that is really what sells it to me, the experience of sitting on the sofa and it being very eclectic. However the wow factor literally ends there… the menus were so disgustingly filthy I couldn’t touch them so I had to order off my phone. The cokes arrived and they were okay, a bit flat and for the price I felt that was a waste of money and I should’ve just asked for water. We ordered tuna toasties that took ages to arrive and when they did it was just two bits of toasted bread with a bit of filling & not much filling. So for £8 each I felt they were incredibly overpriced. I could’ve made a better sandwich at home. However, we were starving so it was fine. Nothing wrong with it per se. As we had to wait so long for our lunch it gave me lots of time to look around the restaurant and honestly it is completely filthy. There is dust everywhere & cobwebs, everything is sticky. I don’t know what management you have working in there but they could really do with speaking to their staff and giving the place a good deep clean.

If this is how your restaurants are being run across your whole chain, it is a huge shame. People work really hard for their money and when they go out, they want it to be exceptional, especially as prices are so steep. I don’t think I’ll bother going back again. I’d much rather go to Comi coffee down the road which is 1 million times better.

Been in a few different ones and I think the quality and quantity of food is terrible for the price. Drinks are ok and the lounges themselves are fine. Some can be dirty. Don't like the lack of uniform. Mixed staff reviews, either really helpful or rude. It's such a shame as they are nice places but their food is not nice. Wake up owners what's wrong with you, your ratings show you're not hitting the spot??

Divino lounge Plymstock. Had their veggie breakfast. Something that tasted like onion bhaji, some greens that looked as if they’d been cooked a week ago and that’s how they tasted! I opted not to have the beans and tomato the only things edible on the plate was a slice of toast and an egg. For over £10 it was an expensive piece of bread and egg.

Consistently good, always polite staff.

We visit here a fair bit as the prices are very fair, the service is very good, it very dog friendly and this particular one has a great view.
The food is always good quality and often very quick service. Drinks are fairly priced and paying through the app makes it very easy to order for the whole party.
The specials evenings are also a great touch.
The staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Highly rate these places for a wide selection of good quality food and drinks at a fair price, this is not posh dining out experience so don't expect Michelin style cuisine, this is a very relaxed place to eat out and you cant go far wrong.

Only thing I could pick on is the took away the cosmopolitan off the cocktail menu and that was my favorite classic! But it has made me appreciate a spicy margaritas much more!

Went to Petersfield branch on Sunday, very busy, took an hour for the food to come. Food was average at best, overall experience was disappointing.

Pontico Lounge Chepstow - Lovely staff, but haloumi burger arrived cold, in a cold bun. Fries were only luke warm. 2 stars for the staff and ambience.

This was an gift from a friend as it was my birthday. Cauliflower Soup was inedible, didn’t know what I was eating. My friend ordered the same, as vegetarians soup seemed a safe bet. It was inedible- deserts were meagre, uninteresting. To wash the taste of the meal away I ordered apple juice. I couldn’t believe I was served up with what tasted like clear concentrated apple juice with a straw!

How does this restaurant get away with this poor quality food?

Best was a Friendly waitress Claudia who stuck birthday candles in our desserts and courageously sung happy birthday with our coaxing.

Felt ill the following morning- just drank water to settle my stomach before a train journey back to London.

A pity there is such poor competition for affordable good restaurants in Totnes

Helpful staff , quick service , regular food and regular prices.

We visited the Bicester lounge this evening. The food was excellent, plenty of it nicely laid out, and the starters were clearly labelled what was GF and what wasn't which was really helpful and greatly appreciated by my sister-in-law. The disappointment was in the takeaway we got for my daughter. The chips were dried out, and the coleslaw was missed out. Also missed out with the extra lettuice. That is why my review is four rather than five. The meal itself however as I have said was excellent and great staff.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming at the valero lounge witham. We enjoy the quiz nights and the occasional lunch. I brought my friend along who loved the place and the planned themed bingo night that's coming soon.

I've visited Visto Lounge in Torquay and was really impressed but since the Paignton one opened called Costero, I've been in there several times and it's always a pleasure to go for a meal.
As I have food intolerances and being vegan, it's difficult to trust the quality and standard of places so eating out was just not possible. Now with the exceptional service in The Lounges, I'm so happy that I can get lovely, fresh food and they really take food allergies seriously which is the way it should be.
I would recommend The Lounges to anyone. They are a breath of fresh air and I'm so pleased that they are doing so well and have so many Lounges dotted around.
The Costero staff are so friendly and professional but laid-back and cheerful too. They seem to enjoy their jobs so I guess The Lounges is a good company to work for.
I'm really impressed and I wish them great success.

Awful visit to Orsino Lounge.

Cold Sweet Potato Fries and then when they were brought back, they had just been fried further more until almost burnt!

Embarrassingly small portion of Prawns that tasted like Rubber Bullets.

Love the concept but second poor experience in recent weeks. The other was at Bruto Lounge.

Offered free drinks but didn’t want to stay.

Maybe one more try at a visit, but it seems the eye is off the ball with the recent company deal and money is coming above the customer offer.

Well that’s my opinion based on the slide in standards. Hope am wrong.

It is in my line of work to write reviews and reports. And in this line of work I have never been so stunned and filled with disappointment at having to write this review and subsequently my report regarding Valero Lounge, Witham.
My concerns are not about the food which in itself is actually great with plenty of options including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan. Although with one member of staff you are likely not to receive your exact order.
My complaints are with the staff who initially appear extremely polite, nice and friendly on the surface and then with no apparent reason or explanation are completely off and rude.
Overall I have found the staff unprofessional and immature. And the whole experience has left me feeling sick, undervalued as a customer and highly unwelcomed.

We came for brunch - the food and service was amazing !! And for someone who is GF this was heaven. Made a loop of Hertford and came back here to grab some more cocktails and amber served us again- so polite and lovely to chat to. 10000% recommend!

Fantastic gluten free lunch today at Fossato Lounge Kenilworth. My daughter and granddaughter also thoroughly enjoyed theirs too! The tapas was small but delicious. The gluten free sundae was to die for and the nicest I’ve ever tasted. 5 stars to whoever’s running it and their staff. I’ll be back!!! Also will put on gluten free Facebook post.

Would like to have given it, more, but limited evening menu, but I have to say we were treated very well last night, a meal was sent back cold, but they did a new hot one, gave us a drink and a dessert, very nice chap (sorry didn't catch his name) very helpful.

Cadno in Neath has gone downhill. Last couple of time the app hasn’t been working, queues for drinks and food are chaos, service is appalling. Staff just look stressed and ignore you and the food is just blah. Really disappointing.
