unable to contact the company regarding delivery of item ordered over a week ago, only via chat which is clear AI generated - having seen a previous review seeing that phone lines are down two weeks ago wish I had seen the review earlier would not recommend.

I placed an order on 25th September. It is now 24th October. Nothing delivered. No communication. No response to email or live chat queries. Do not use this company.

I was please to find the quite unusual lampshade I needed on their website. However having ordered and paid £126.36 it still hasn't arrived. That was 12 days ago. The order confirmation said 2-3 days. I've tried calling - there's a recording saying technical issues so not able to receive calls. They haven't replied to my emails either. Hopefully it shows up or I'll have to try to get refunded. Wish I hadn't ordered with them. UPDATE - still no shade and I'm having to go through the tedious process of trying to get the money refunded to my card from the cc company. I'd say this company is a scam. Regret not checking on Trust Pilot before ordering.

A fitting was broken in the box and I emailed within minutes of delivery 3 weeks ago, my emails are being ignored and they do not answer the phone at all . The recorded message says due to technical issues the phone cannot be answered and that’s been like that for 3 weeks !Terrible service

I've been sent a copy of my invoice, I've been sent this link to write a review. I HAVEN'T been sent the item I paid for. I've tried phoning - you get a recorded message saying they can't take calls. I've emailed - I'm waiting for a reply. I've spoken to the chat bot - it says my item will be dispatched today. I wait with baited breath.....

I received an emailed order confirmation, and invoice, on 2/10/25. Was told 2 to 3 working days for delivery, and that I would get a message once item despatched.
It's now 10/10/25 and I've heard nothing and received nothing.

The appliances are well produced and when fitted they look amazing

They don’t answer telephone calls nor does the chat bot respond and despite sending numerous emails, my order still has not been completed! I’ve been left with one square and one round lampshade - both useless to me!! I also gave them one last chance to respond before I took to this review. Still nothing!! You’d have thought that might have stirred sort of action - but no!!!
I only wish I’d looked at previous reviews before I placed my order otherwise I’d have avoided this company like the plague! It also seems like in some shape or form , affiliated to the Lancashire Electric Lamp Co as they were the ones who dispatched the wrong order - they too have ‘technical issues’ with their phone lines!! Head for the hills folks!!!

Most likely a Fraudulent company. Placed my order in August and still not received. No response to calls or emails. I'm now having to contact my credit card company to get a refund.
When you google their address it looks like a building that was condemned in the 60's. I wish i had done my research before.
The worst online experience ever.

One of the goods I received was faulty and because I I was was installed straight away I was outside the three days to complain by letter which I think is ridiculous time frame I then had to pay for another one.

Was SO excited to find this company stocked a replacement for an existing light we have broken. I ordered 2. Something else entirely turned up.

Then: tumbleweeds.

The phone is down due to ‘technical issues’. Reading reviews of how long this has been the case I highly doubt accidental, or being fixed.

Chat goes ignored.
Ditto reaching out through social.

Wouldn’t be surprised if all positive reviews are plants and the company is a front to off surplus stock by selling something and delivering something else.

Losing hope I’ll ever get my lights, or see my money again.

Be wary. I could kick myself for not looking at the reviews for this company before purchasing. I also can’t remember ever leaving a 1star review for any company. Our experience was based on neither of the products we purchased working, despite being pricey. Both faulty. When lights arrived a box had been opened with missing parts. They don’t answer the phone, their Chat facility doesn’t work and whilst via email they “eventually” acknowledged their responsibilities and sent a returns label, they then didn’t communicate at all. Had to make a credit card chargeback claim to obtain refund - no push back from credit card provider as had kept copies of everything so please ensure if you do ignore this review, that you pay be credit card if over £100 and retain all correspondence and proof of your actions to attempt to resolve as will be the only way I suspect you will receive a refund despite your statutory rights.

Returned a item for exchange as per the messenger online chat. Returned and had signed for and tracked. Checked delivery and have had returned.
Tried to call and number not working. Sent two emails and still no response 2weeks after receiving return. Tried online chat again and no joy.

I order 4 LED tubes from this company a week ago, to which the order confirmation stated 2 to3 working days, I am still waiting with no correspondance whatso ever from them, they don't call you back when you leave a message, which is all you can do, and don't answer emails. Please let me know what is happening to order number 3000023149, you have taken the money, but no goods. I will have to take this further if I don't get my goods soon, and as I work for a Local authority Trading Standards dept, I don't think you want that to happen. Sort out your communications, or your reviews will get even worse from customers!

They had the exact light bulb that I was looking for when no other vendor including Amazon did.
The price was competitive and the order process facilitated by PayPal.
Delivery was very quick.
Highly recommended.

Extremely poor service, rude customer service. I have waited well over 2 weeks for my order. I am in desperate need as I have my housewarming upcoming. I expressed my concern to customer service after having waited 2 weeks for what was suppose to be a 2-3 day delivery. Every time I contacted their online chat cause not to forget phone lines were atrocious nobody ever returned calls. They advised that my order was due to be delivered the next day, which never happened. I waited for the delivery time slot and beyond but nothing appeared. I then went on to tell them how much inconvenience this has caused. Rather then be empathetic the agent didn’t ask me he cancelled the order refunded my money and disappeared without giving me any confirmation. I received no cancellation email till I contacted the live chat again and after 2 hours of trying and having either no advisor answer or the chat disconnect I gave up and saw my money had come back. I now have had to place another order as nobody else sells what I need and I desperately need them. Hoping to have a better experience this time I just want the items, I will never return to this website

i paid for next working day delivery but no parcel turned up not one update or reply i still have no parcel if you don’t like bad language don’t have poor service

I'm still waiting for my delivery (of a ceramic uplighter) a month after ordering. As numerous others have found, the phone line doesn't work, and I have received no acknowledgement or reply to my email a fortnight ago. Not sure how to reclaim the cost of my order. Even if it turns up in the end, I'll never order from this company again.
Updated comment: surprise, surprise. The day after I posted this review, I had a notification from The Lighting Centre that my order was being despatched. It duly arrived a few days later – nice product, as described. The Lighting Centre included on the delivery note a request for me to leave a 5 star review, which I think is a bit cheeky and I don't feel like complying, as although I am pleased with the product, their customer service deserves no stars.
