Great service and laser results!!

I have been coming here for a while, and have always experienced exceptional service. The employees make you feel extremely welcomed.

I always have my appointments with Magda and she always maintains being professional, and ensuring I am comfortable. I have had amazing results from my laser session with her. Could not recommend more!!

ZERO STARS

ZERO STARS - BLACK PEOPLE PLEASE AVOID!!

This clinic has caused me physical harm, emotional distress, and long-term skin damage and they’ve taken zero accountability for it.

I now have burns and widespread post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) across my legs, thighs, and other areas of my body as a direct result of being treated with a diode laser by someone clearly untrained in treating Black skin.

The aftermath has been devastating — and I am now paying for private dermatology and months (likely a year) of corrective care. This was not a mild side effect. This was avoidable damage caused by ignorance and negligence.

During one session, I asked the therapist to stop because the treatment on my inner thighs was extremely painful. Her exact response was: “I’ve got to finish it.” That moment still shocks me. I was visibly in pain, and she pushed through anyway. That’s not just unprofessional, it’s unethical.

And after all this? No genuine apology. No refund. No real aftercare. They suggested treatments like microdermabrasion, which can make PIH worse and are categorically unsafe for Black skin in this situation. It became painfully clear that no one in that clinic understands the unique needs of Black skin, nor do they seem interested in learning.

To make matters worse, I was asked to leave a review immediately after my final session, before the burns had even fully emerged. I complied at the time because I was pressured and didn’t yet realise the extent of the damage. I’ve since deleted it. I now question how many other glowing reviews were written under similar circumstances. I urge you to not believe any reviews praising ‘Eleanor’ or ‘El’ as she requests those herself.

This has been one of my greatest regrets. If you are Black or have melanin-rich skin, please stay far away from this place. No one should have to go through what I’ve experienced.

We deserve better than to be treated like a test subject by people who do not care enough to educate themselves or take responsibility when things go wrong.

Had a hydra facial in Windsor with…

Had a hydra facial in Windsor with Alice, a true professional and did a great job and went through all the steps involved so I knew what was happening and what all the processes did. Would highly recommend it for glowy skin and feeling rejuvenated, have already booked my next session 🤩

One satisfied customer

I am having laser treatment by Jameela who is a wonderful person. She is very thorough with her work and makes me feel comfortable whilst I am having my laser session.Her treatment room is clean and of a good standard.She is very welcoming.
I have noticed big difference with the hair growth as I bought 10 sessions and have 4 more to go.I would definitely recommend UxbridgeTLC to anyone who needs laser treatment.

I am writing to raise Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Request for Resolutiona formal…

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the service I experienced at harrow clinic, specifically in relation to the microneedling and Rejuvapen treatments I booked and paid for on 15th February 2022, amounting to £100.

At the time of payment, I was breastfeeding and was assured during the initial consultation by a clinician that the treatment was safe and there was no need for concern. I was advised to prepare for the treatment by showing a member of staff the active ingredients in the creams I was using, which I did before finalizing the booking.

However, upon further research on the safety of the treatment during breastfeeding, I felt uncertain and raised this with another member of staff. At that point, I was informed that the treatment was not secure due to breastfeeding. Based on this information, I decided to delay the treatment until I had stopped breastfeeding, which lasted nearly two years.

When I recently returned to the clinic, I was unexpectedly asked to attend another consultation. This was frustrating as I had already completed one, and I have the email confirmation as proof. During the second consultation, I explained that I had since been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, an immune system condition, and once again sought reassurance that the treatment would be safe. I was assured that everything was fine and proceeded to finalize the booking.

At reception, I was informed about the need for skin preparation using specific creams. As before, I stated that I was already using the required creams and could provide proof of the active ingredients. However, I was suddenly told that a policy change now required me to purchase products directly from the clinic.

I am deeply dissatisfied for the following reasons:

Lack of Communication: I was never informed about any policy changes in advance.
Consultation Confusion: I was asked to have another consultation unnecessarily, despite having already completed one.
Poor Customer Service: The clinician conducting the second consultation was unaware of the treatments being discussed, which is both shocking and unprofessional.
Conflicting Information: I was previously assured that I could proceed with the treatment, yet was later told it may not be possible as my booking had "expired."
Negligence and Mismanagement: The overall handling of my concerns, particularly regarding safety during breastfeeding and my Crohn's disease, was negligent and inconsistent.
To make matters worse, when I requested a refund due to this unacceptable experience, I was advised to consider Botox—a treatment even riskier for someone with Crohn's disease, which I had clearly communicated. When I expressed my frustration, the deputy manager told me to leave the clinic, claiming I did not allow her to speak. This reflects extremely poor management and customer care.

Given the circumstances, I requested the following options as a resolution which were not acknowledge

A full refund of £100; OR
Products of equal value (£100); OR
The treatment using my existing creams, as I was not informed of the policy change at the time of booking.
I should not bear the consequences of your clinic's negligence, lack of communication, and poor operational procedures.

Total useless - Uxbridge branch

Very unprofessional. Only interesyted in filling their pockets. Half of the time their laser did not work. Certainly did not get the results what they promised. Things gone worse with the burn from the laser. I will never recommned TLC to anyone. DO not waste your money.

I could not recommend based on experience

I purchased some laser hair removal via Wowcher for the laser clinic group (LCG) in Windsor back in late September.

I recently left them a voicemail message and emailed them to arrange for my appointments to be booked. I have until January 2025 to do so according to Wowcher’s terms. Chasing via another voicemail message, LCG called me to say they no longer work with Wowcher and that I needed to contact Wowcher. I asked LCG to do the same as I didn’t feel it was wholly with me. I don’t believe LCG have contacted Wowcher.

I am now having to liaise with Wowcher to sort the issue out. Wowcher have kindly contacted the merchant and I await the response.

Wowcher have no record of LCG not working with them and I have no email as it was just a call to say from LCG saying they wouldn’t take my appointment booking.

What is most galling is that LCG have started to bombard me with text messages for offers and deals!

I’d kindly like them to sort out the £111+ I’m owed for them failing to deliver on a service I’ve purchased in good faith.

We shall see what happens but it doesn’t fill me with confidence.
