I really enjoyed my day - the excellent trainer; the wonderful training facilities and meeting some wonderful women. I will definitely be using all of the information I learnt to take forward in my role. Booking on to the course was straightforward and all the information sent before and afterwards was perfect. A full day course without a single PowerPoint slide? It is possible folks! A really refreshing change for a course to rely on the testimony of its attendees rather than solely on the experience of the host. A very interactive and fun experience, well managed by the trainer. Would (and have) thoroughly recommend!

We had a session run by Larry from Hub Events. We're a small new working group and Larry helped us really nail down everything we were hoping to achieve, including our mission statement, our purpose, our branding and our communication methods and goals. Larry was great at encouraging discussion to get all the ideas flowing but then getting us to a decision point. The whole session was fun and hugely successful.

I did the Courageous Conversations course in my last role at the same company back in 2023 and loved it! Larry is so refreshing, a great teacher and good at guiding in the right direction. I was so happy to do the course again relating to a different topic in my new role. Larry was very understanding of our needs and got us feeling inspired as a group to finally get started beyond the course. Thank you Larry for your time, patience and support - especially as a neurodiverse individual. If any courses about Communication/Presenting specifically come up - i'm there!

Great course. Came awaywith loads of tips on how to work on improving my relilience both at work and at home. Very informative.

Had an exception time on the Newly Appointed Director, James was brilliant, well paced, knowledgeable and brilliant at keeping the room whilst sharing key information to help us maximise our learning. I am really looking forward to applying this new learning into my future role.

Attended The Newly Appointed Director course and I have to say, I was very impressed!

Excellent communication prior to the event, venue was easy to find and well equipped. The course content was exceptional and the trainer, James Perryman was not only informative and extremely knowledgeable but also very interesting and personable.

The day was a good mix between learning not only about the topics which made up the course but different insights into the way in which others work - helpful hints and handy tips all communicated after collaborating with other members.

I really enjoyed the Proactive Assistant training course - it was a fantastic experience with a great team of ladies. Heather delivered the training perfectly, striking the right tone throughout. The session was engaging and well-paced, with a variety of activities that kept us stimulated and encouraged participation. Heather was very approachable and created a positive, supportive atmosphere. The venue was also excellent, adding to the overall experience.

I left feeling revitalised and ready to return to work with a new sense of energy and zest. Highly recommended!

Wow this training course was absolutely brilliant! Heather was a wonderful trainer - warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and funny too! I really enjoyed the course topics, and the way the group were encouraged to interact with each other for certain tasks. The venue was also brilliant, excellent catering, and just all round lovely people making the two days a complete joy. 10/10 highly recommended.

2 Day Proactive Assistant Course

I learnt so much from both the course and networking with all of the other PA's on the course; taking an action plan away with me to implement at work was also great so I can show my Line Manager what I took from the course.

Heather is such a wonderful presenter, this is the second course of Heather’s I’ve enrolled on to and I would go back everytime! She’s is amazing, refreshments breaks, entertaining and engaging! I’m very very happy with the outcome of this course and believe it was very informative and beneficial for my role as a PA and myself development. The food was amazing, the breakfast, lunch and refreshments!

Heather was fantastic, she allowed us the space to be in a room full of like minded people and really helped me to feel more confident in my role. Had a great 2 days on her proactive assistant course and would look to do more in the future

I did the “Newly promoted Director” course. James was a great trainer - high energy, clear explanations and used humour and anecdotes to bring the content to life. The course was well-structured with industry recognised frameworks and theories. It was fast-paced, more of a signposting / summary of the techniques that exist than a deep dive on any particular approach. This felt appropriate given time constraints. As an aside the facilities were excellent, great food and beverage provision. Overall a good value course!

I recently attended a training session led by Heather, and she was absolutely amazing. She is an outstanding trainer, very professional, incredibly skilled in communication, and highly engaging throughout the session. Through the real-life stories and potential scenarios she shared, she conveyed her messages in a very powerful and relatable way. She is truly excellent at what she does and has deep knowledge in psychology and understanding people. On a personal level, we also connected through our shared interest in martial arts, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend her, it was an exceptional training.
