The Compton Candle Company is based in a village on the outskirts of Sherborne in the beautiful English county of Dorset and was established in 2019. Our aim is to create beautifully handcrafted products using high quality ingredients at affordable everyday prices. Working from our studio, we hand make our products in small batches with attention to detail and a passion for creating wonderfully scented products. Love these candles & reed diffusers so much. A huge choice of scents- my faves are Winter Orange, Meadow Grass, Sea Salt & Marine. Delivery is super fast & you get loyalty points if you join the club. I also love the fact that that the waxes are 100% soy- no nasty paraffin wax like a certain luxury brand. The guys are really lovely to talk to at local markets.

Lovely smelling Reed Diffusers
Great company to deal with, I was kept informed of the progress of my order. Which was delivered on time. I ordered two reed diffusers Sanctuary and Vetiver & Vanilla which are both beautiful scents.

I love the diffusers. Bergamot and oud is my favourite. They last for months, not like the cheaper supermarket ones.

Great scent but hasn't lasted long
Love the fragrance and packaging and customer service is great - my only negative would be that the diffuser I purchased is nearly run out already and it's only been 17 days, so at that rate, it will be expensive to keep up. It has been exceptionally hot - so maybe that has an impact.

Hi Mandy. Thanks for your honest review. I'm sure the heatwave has definitely been a factor. They should last at least 2 months in normal conditions. We recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight too but with these conditions everywhere is HOT unfortunately. To stop this happening in future you can wrap the reeds in clingfilm and put the stopper back in until temperatures normalise. We hope you try us again.

Loved the previous diffuser fragrances so ordered two different ones-Frangipani and Sanctuary. Also bought the Flower with cotton wick instead of using diffuser sticks. It is very pretty.

Pure scents
These scents are pure ie: no nasties and with plenty to choose from. I love sea breeze and Spa. They are a great Dorset small business and importantly the candles are soy and not wax so there are fewer particles when lit. Easy to order and fast shipment.

I ordered refills for my diffuser (rhubarb & mint). Easily done on their website. Five days later they arrived. All very excellent.

Beautifully-scented products
