The British wood paneling company I have found to be the very best on price, delivery and the Oakley boards that I have ordered and received were absolutely fantastic and the delivery driver was so helpful as I asked him to put them in my shed and without any questions he agreed straight away the Oakley boards are so easy to use and I am so happy as I used them to make a bookshelf to the size I wanted and the finish looks brilliant with a little bit of Danish oil really shows the grain, I would highly recommend this company

Very Pleased. Really good product, good service, quick delivery. After ordering a sample which was delivered within a few days I emailed for some advice and although I had to repeat the email a couple of times (only reason for not being 5 stars) I received a really useful and informative reply. I then completed my main order and received the Oakley furniture boards within 3 days.

I ordered a 3000 x 600 x 12mm board from these people.This was my second time of dealing with them.I ordered the board approx first week of Jan on the understanding it would take approx a fortnight to deliver.I added a note to the order asking the driver to text my mobile 24hrs in advance to ensure that someone was available to take delivery as the first delivery I had turned up on a Saturday morning with no prior warning.On oe about the 23rd Jan I contacted them on chat to ask for an update on my delivery.I was asked for my order number which I gave.The order was on the system as being delivered.When I queried this as I had not recieved any board I was told that they would ask the driver the following morning for an explanation.The following day I got an email from David who had spoken to the driver and the driver had said that he knocked on my neighbour as I was not at home....although the lights were on in the house,the blinds were open,there was a car on the drive.The driver never knocked on my door or called my mobile as he had told David he had called me.My neighbour had apparently told hime to leave it up the side of the house and she would keep an eye on it.I replied to Davids email to ask what time the driver called my mobile and from what number did he call me from.I still have not had a reply to my email from David to this day!!!!!! I spoke to Hugh about the 30th Jan to enquire what was happening about my redelivery of the missing board.Hugh informed me it was due for delivery next week...W/C 1/2/22.I still have not recieved the board.I have been on chat tonight 08/02/22 for over 2 hours waiting on someone to acknowledge me.......NOTHING!!!!!Been ignored.So the way thing stand I am over £100 out of pocket.Nobody wants to communicate with me.Nice way to treat customers through no fault of their own

To many negative review didn't worked out for me. I read the company response and they were legitimate. So I made an order with quite big value. I was patient knowing their delivery time would be 3 weeks, and some of my items were not in stock. They called me if I want those in stock. I wanted my delivery as all so told them happy to wait. After more than a month decided to contact them. The phone strait to robot. My email returned as rejected. At this moment I was in doubt. 2 days later the same result plus nobody on the chat. I was afraid to tell wife knowing she will eat me if this going to be a fraud.. 1 more week and I was eating all my nails.... . Suddenly one morning the chat become live. Hugh was one the other side. Very polite and helpful. Explained to him my query. Willing to help offered to send the items in stock but they had a large amount of order and I need to wait one more month . Not much to do I accepted. Couple od they later from nowhere a van appeared bringing my half order. Again it would be nice just a text/ message : Hey we are coming today.
Nevermind the driver very polite and helpful. Unloaded the van on his own. Thanks for that.
And again the waiting game started as I was not able to start the project without the full list.
The panels ordered are very light which made me think and change my mind.
Chating with Hugh again I was able to change my order for items in their stock very easy at a very competitive price. Thanks Hugh!
I was expecting a delivery in couple of weeks but the company logistic had other thoughts. One morning while having breakfast the van driver was knocking at the door.... Yeah my full order is here.
So my story ends well . After all I hade positive experience with this company apart that they need to work on customer support. They were polite and helpfull just very hard to reach them. And frustrated people became very negative after all.

The other negative reviews had made me a little nervous. But I have just received my order of 3 furniture boards, within the promised delivery timescales, and at a competitive price. I did not receive a confirmation email but, apart from that, their service has been good. Mike W

My recommendation is DO NOT use this company. Ordered wood. Over the course of 4 weeks contacted them via live chat (more like dead chat) email and messenger. Mainly we were ignored and when they did respond eventually, they blatantly lied about delivery - twice. In the end after spending more time trying to contact these clowns than I spend going my own job - I asked if I could have a refund as was nearing 30 days if they couldn’t deliver by end of week. AT LAST! A response! A text to my partner saying he was getting a refund. No apology. No explanation. The refund arrived promptly - the only positive!!! Let me make this very clear - we were polite throughout! I’m not a rude person, neither is my partner. And I understand how busy things are. However, almost a week later - I then received the most rude message out of the blue …accusing my partner of calling them scammers and being banned from the not so live chat - all of which was untrue. They banged on about we should check the website for dates for delivery ( yes we did and you still couldn’t manage it) and that we apparently don’t know what oak wood us … It was the most bizarre message and totally inappropriate even it had any resemblance to the truth ! Which it did not. I was shocked. Not only are they useless and clearly incompetent but abusive ! I am sure like the other reviews they’ll post some BS reply to this! However my advice is - take heed - they are the most useless, rudest and incompetent company I’ve ever used. Funny thing is, I wasn’t even going to leave a review as they refunded us - even though they deserved it - but after receiving that message well - I relish doing this now. Please don’t ignore - I wouldn’t waste my time writing this -do not use this company. I think whoever sent me that message has additionally got a screw loose and clearly got us confused with one of their many other disgruntled customers! Funny how they can reply when it suits them!!! RUBBISH COMPANY!! NUT JOB STAFF ! AVOID AVOID AVOID! Just an update after reading your reply … please do report me! I am not fake as you know and am more than happy to share my message from you and my order number . You clearly think that reporting me will remove my review. Again do not use this company they are also proving themselves to be incompetent, rude and additionally - dishonest ! Clearly not to be trusted. Accept responsibility for your dire service!

I ordered panels to the sum of £227.95 on 5th Nov - exactly 3 weeks ago today - I was told a week ago they would be delivered next week, well that has past. No-one answers the phone, straight to voicemail - no-one replies to any left messages. The Livechat feature must be a scam as no-one answers it. Simply not good enough!

I ordered a wood panel over 3 weeks ago ,wood never arrived I only get a answer phone ,now I will takes steps for recovery through barclays bank . Never use this company, Con men. Its funny how you respond to reviews sharpish ,but no products arrive or indeed refunds. So i take it from your reply you will not be refunding me.

Terrible experience. Avoid, avoid! When ordered my wood I've been advised it will be 21 WORKING DAYS. After 21 WORKING days I have contacted customer service online to get message back "you will get your order at the end of the week" - very unprofessional when already been waiting over a month! I've been told delivery team will contact me in advance to arrange delivery, instead of doing it I just got knock on my door early in the morning on Saturday to find out this is my delivery - promises definitely not delivered and costed me £30. The wood was bent like banana, the oak was so dry so it splits as soon as you try to saw, the gluing process of the oak was very poor and there was more filler then oak so I couldn't use it for what I needed which that extended my project time a lot as now searching for different supplier - more reliable. After delivery I have tried to contact company without any success so I had to leave message on answer machine and someone should get back to me asap according to voicemail message BUT been waiting now 5 days and no call. I was hoping for long good relationship with the company as I manage team of builders with loads of project ahead but as company isn't reliable and can't deliver what they promise I will 100% won't be using them.
