I sent in a piece for them to evaluate and based on information I thought was correct, I thought the offer they gave was very low and asked for my item to be returned, which they did. I was upset and gave an unfavorable review. Upon receiving my item and learning more about what it was really worth, I ended up resending it. They were very professional, offering me what I now know is a very good price. I accepted the offer. I wanted to write a new review because I was wrong in my initial judgment and wanted to make that known.

If you are like me, you are feeling a little uneasy about mailing your gold through the mail to an otherwise stranger. I was but they stated that they will give you the best rate for your gold. I was getting offers from local dealers that to me sounded low. I decided to take the risk. They could not have been more transparent and communicated with me often about where things were in the process. Something I definitely appreciated being a naturally untrusting person. They paid me a very fair price for some old silver jewelry, and two 14kt gold earrings. They were very transparent throughout the process, and they emailed and texted me within a few hours after they received the Fedex delivery with their offer. They also called me to make sure I received the offer. Something else I was impressed by: I work in the direct mail/direct sales industry, I know what it costs to design, print and mail high end marketing materials so I always notice it when I receive quality marketing pieces through the mail. I requested kits from two other companies in this space along with one from Alloy Market, Alloy far and away had the most attractive, professionally produced marketing materials sent in the kit along with the return mailer. That is what made me go with them over the other two companies. The other guys sent a return mailer and an 8x11 letter, Alloy sends the return mailer along with a very nice folder with your rep's business card and a few informational pamphlets in there too. Very slick, very impressive. Before sending them in I took my items to a local pawn shop and to a jewelry store that buys precious metals to get a ballpark idea of what they would be worth, and Alloy beat the top offer by $32.88. I definitely recommend them!

I kept having trouble putting a picture on the acceptance form. There were three young ladies who tried to help. Al last they had me send my ID by text and they managed the transfer. I'm sure the price they paid for my gold was fair, and if I have more here is where I'm coming.
