The bad reviews really surprise me, as I've always found these guys to be great! I've used them a couple of times and my orders have always arrived quickly and have without fail made my friends laugh. They're really unique and such a fun idea. Tip: It's worth adding the exploding butterfly, hilarious!

I wouldn't bother. The potato never arrived. They claim a card was left. I have since spoken to the recipient who didn't receive a card to say it had tried to be delivered. I even specified for it to be left outside which royal mail has done on numerous occasions previously. They won't refund for an item that never came! And instead are trying to charge me again. That's their idea of helpful.

Paid extra for the surprise butterfly, I then recorded my partners reaction only for nothing to pop out and ‘surprise’ her. The paper butterfly was there but remained in one place when opened. It went from a potential exciting gift experience to a boring one within seconds. Interesting and fun gift ideas but the final result was disappointing. Nothing like the videos they show. This was my 2nd time ordering, won’t be ordering again.

After mistakingly putting my own address as apose to it's intended recipient I immediately tried to contact there customer service to get it changed. After 48 hours they got back to me and said there was nothing they could do and I should be more careful in future. Best bit, the potato never even arrived!

Very happy with the service provided by Text-A-Potato. Product was delivered exactly as they said it would be and delivery was very fast. I'm sure my friend was particularly happy with his sexy potato :-)

packaging was awful, socks ontop of the potato gave away the surprise, the "flying" butterfly didn't even work so that was a waste.

Ordered a personalised blanket. The advertisement on their website shows an adult woman holding the blanket with arms stretched out and it touches the floor. When the blanket arrived its not much bigger than a t-towel. Very misleading! Won't be using them again.

Ordered on 2nd June. Two emails received from them. No sign of gift. So went on customer live chat.., big mistake! Gave them proof that only two emails were received but they were insistent that a third one was sent. After a lot of me repeating myself, and explaining I wanted a refund I got told that no refunds were given! So basically, they have taken my money and I have received nothing, might as well have set that money alight. Awful customer service. Don’t waste your time or money

Don't bother ordering with this company. There are other companies out there that do a far better job and treat there customers fairly
