Biggest rip off these guys.

Got quoted £500 for electric car work as my MOT failed. Charged me £114 to “ see what the issue was”.

Took it to another garage you only charged my £180 for all the work.

Definitely go get second opinions, these guys are cowboys

Since my previous review where I gave them 1 star (I would have given them 0 star if it was available) I have sent them at least 5 reminders to correct incorrectly done work and refund me for items not delivered. I have also called them at least 5 times in vain.
So all of you out there who is planning to engage Telcam for their competitive pricing monitor closely how they install and what they deliver as you would otherwise be very pissed off when items start falling off due to poor quality installation.

Telcam doing car repairs as well but too much hidden charges and not genuine, in my experience they charged too much and lying too much...kind of scam...

Raj at Telcam was very helpful by dealing with an emergency at night. We had a power cut and he was able to disable the alarm and subsequently restore the service and monitoring remotely. Great service !

Rahul called me back within 5 minutes of my support call to the Telcam support line. Gave me clear instructions by telephone that cleared the issue up immediately, thank you Rahul.

I placed an order online on Friday 4th October 2024 for a Network IP PTZ CCTV Camera Keyboard/Joystick Controller via Telcam's website. Having not received my order, nor had any kind of ‘automated email’ or other form of confirmation of my order, I telephoned Telcam on Thursday 10th October 2024 to follow-up. Telcam said that my order was “being packed ready to send” and I should receive it on either Saturday 12th Oct or Monday 14th Oct.

I didn’t receive my order on either of the above dates, hence I telephoned Telcam a second time on Thursday 17th October 2024, to follow-up once more. I was again told that my order was “being packed ready to send” and that I’d receive it on either Saturday 19th Oct or Monday 21st Oct.

Not having received my order on either of those dates either, I telephoned Telcam for a third time on Thursday 24th October to follow-up yet again – I was told that I’d “need to speak to the Sales Team, who weren’t in but who would call me back”, which, needless to say, they didn’t.

I therefore telephoned Telcam for a fourth time the following day, to now request that they refund me what I’d paid back to my Credit Card, which they said they would do. They emailed to confirm my card details, and I was told that they would make the refund that day, and it would take 2-5 working days to be credited back to my card. But over a week later I still hadn't been refunded, despite my emailing yet again to follow-up my refund request.

So no camera-controller & no refund either! Thankfully, I have now been refunded what I'd paid by my credit-card company (thank you, Mastercard). But what a saga! I would steer well clear of Telcam from my experience.

I dealt with Simran who gave me amazing customer service and helped me out with all questions I had. She’s great to talk to and I highly recommend her!

I moved into a property this year that already had an alarm with Telcam so I got in touch with the company who arranged a takeover of the system for the same week and sorted everything for me. Simran from the team answered all of my questions and was also happy to arrange calls from the senior engineers for the technical advice I needed. A seamless experience overall couldn't recommend these guys enough!

Telcam team is superb! Carlos is excellent to work with as he's transparent and very knowledgeable. Henna is an excellent account manager to liaise with. Highly Recommended!

I’ve been a telcam customer for many years. Recently had an upgrade of my alarm system and I was so happy with the whole service. The office staff are a pleasure to speak to - especially Simran who I was lucky enough to be communicating with throughout - and they are always happy to help. The engineers are highly skilled and very professional especially Sej who answered all my questions about the system. Very happy with everything, thank you telcam.

Had an alarm upgrade and CCTV install from telcam recently. The whole team were amazing from enquiry to installation, and incredibly helpful at helping me find a solution within my budget. The team in the office, specifically Simran and Henna, are incredible and will really go out of their way to get things done for you. The engineers that came out were quick and efficient and happy to answer all my questions. Very happy with the service as well as the installation!

I was really interested in having some security camers put up in my house. I just want to say, I spoke to customer service- Henna. Honest information given and was really patient and polite when I spoke to her. Customer skills fantastic. Really took her time in explaining how the camera system works and informative information with regards to installation.
Definitely considering getting my alarm system fitted in by telcam!
