Highly recommend Tarven Electrical. I used them several years ago and found them to be professional, friendly, and reliable. The work was carried out to a high standard and the whole experience was very positive.

After recently moving home, I needed a significant amount of electrical work carried out on a house that is over 100 years old. Tarven have been brilliant in helping to plan the best approach for the electrical upgrades and renovations. Their knowledge, advice, and attention to detail have been excellent throughout.

Tarven installed an EV charger for me. They were flexible and agreed to install a brand and model they were not used to. They were on time, installed it without any issue. They were respectful, and for instance vaccuum-cleaned once done. All this at a competitive price.
They also installed solar panels for me a few years back: it was a good experience as well, and they still work nicely.

Tarven fitted solar panels and a Tesla battery for me and throughout the process everyone was very professional, helpful and courteous and showed very high levels of knowledge and competence. Fantastic customer service and workmanship, from the initial quote, to fitting the panels and batteries, all has been amazing. The team have been very helpful afterwards with all my follow up questions getting back to within an hour if not sooner. I can not recommend then enough.

So our solar panels stopped sending to the grid. The installation solar panel company tried charging over £300 to come out and look at it then and £600 for parts that need fixing on line.

For a just over a quarter of that price Tavern Solar came out diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement part, which was under manufactures warranty and fixed the problem.

Great service, highly recommended and we'd definitely use Tarven again. We got in touch with Jake to organise the relocating of some of our solar panels due to building work. Jake was quick to respond to my enquiry and the team sent to do the work were helpful and professional. Fred in particular was brilliant even though it poured with rain the whole time he worked. We did encounter a small issue which I raised with Jake, he dealt with it quickly and politely and the job was finished to our total satisfaction.

The team were punctual polite and efficient and tidy. They made sure all the fine details were completed before leaving very pleased with additional battery .

I have used Tarven solar energy on 2 occaisions now and both times the customer service has been outstanding.
The 1st was to install an additional storage battery and EPS circuit to a pre existing system and now the 2nd to fault find and replace my inverter under warranty.
The speed of service and knowledge of my system was very comforting and would highly recommend them to my friends.

My wife bought a ceiling fan despite the fact I had not clue how to put it up. I contacted Tarven who installed it for us, moved the original ceiling light to another room, and checked the wiring on my EV charger all in a morning’s work. The work was completed to a high standard, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Tarven previously fitted our solar panels which have been great over the past 3 years. We have also used the company for other occasional electrical jobs and have always found that they just get on and do the job in a reliable manner …highly recommended

I took a punt on Tarven solar from an ad on the Google page. One of best decisions I've made. Nothing was impossible, when Jake came out to do the survey. They run a very efficient competent company, time scale was very quick. They installed an 8 panel solar system and an EV charge point at the same time, which was what I wanted, all in a couple of day's, they were also a lot cheaper than other quotes that I had, especially Octopus, my energy supplier, without skimping on quality. So I don't have any hesitation in giving a 5 star rating.

I called Tavern Solar Energy on Sat 28th June anticipating leaving a message, so completely surprised when my call was answered by Chris, Chris asked me to take pictures of my system and e mail across, then Jake, (his son) would e mail me a quote. On 2nd July I received the quote, which I accepted, installation was arranged for 10th July. Zak and his colleague arrived at the agreed time, and my two Growatt batteries were installed. Zac also gave me a tutorial on the app (which was never covered by the installation company and no follow up either).

I got a solar panels system + battery installed from Tarven.

I think that Excellent is probably the right word to describe Tarven in all aspects!!

They gave me lots of inputs when I was exploring the options at the beginning.
Then they matched all my requirements when I got the offer (others were recommending other options despite my requests or just abandoned me) and they kindly sent me a follow up at the time I asked.
The installation was exactly on time and they did a great job, working in a way that made us really happy.
Everything was tidy and clean when they finished.
I got all documents and explanations about how to proceed with a couple of things in the admin.
And Jake is really responsive and always available for questions and support!!
Finally, the price I paid is fair.
And my system is great!

They are a relatively small family business, but trust me when I say that I rarely experienced such a good service from a contractor, so I strongly recommend Tarven.
