Came across The Tao of Trading with absolutely no background or experience in trading, so I was initially a little intimidated by the idea of learning something that seemed so complex. I’m really glad I gave it a chance. The book is incredibly helpful and, most importantly, very digestible. Simon does a great job of breaking down concepts in a way that’s easy to understand, even if you’re starting from zero. I also found the training courses to be very thorough and practical. Simon provides plenty of real examples and walks through his methods and techniques, which made it much easier to understand how everything applies in practice. As someone completely new to trading, I really appreciate how comprehensive yet approachable the material is. It’s given me a much stronger foundation and a better understanding of the thought process behind trading. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning, especially beginners with no prior experience. I’m going to begin paper mock trading soon with much more confidence now.

I've had a fantastic experience with being a Tao of Trading member. I was in the financial industry for years, and traded vanilla equities myself. The book was remarkable, an options trading book for novices, intermediate and advanced traders. I made money on the bounce setup from the book and to really get consistency in monthly trading results, I became a member of Simon Ree's Options Academy. This helped me understand all of Simon's strategies fully, ensured that I didn't get greedy when a trade was up, and how to hedge positions to manage my losses. The academy includes basic to advance teaching strategies which not only benefited my learning journey, it's also given me a side income for many many months now. In short, use the book to build a foundation on options, then use the program to build a second income.

This review is based on my experience over six month of hard work, starting with tao of trading and going further:

- This site and many others promote options trading, a very complex product where 75 to 95% of people loss (google it).
- The process starts with a book promising you to build a second income, then it goes to buying training courses, signals until you buy a monthly membership because the fact is even after the book, the training all the setups and signals, you are still losing money, and need an expert to hold your hand.
- even with the mentor support and i have tried few, you wont achieve the promised 70% winnings.
- Whenever you come up with doubts, they will play the psychology part: its you, your emotions, your fears, mentality...etc
- Overtime you become a gambler, who is just betting and wishing things will go his / her way, its pretty simple, if a 40 years old expert is getting it wrong, then its bad, in fact many of these trainers dont even trade or use paper trading accounts, they make money from training, and that is why they choose this complex product, so you keep asking for more training and mentoring, this goes to crypto as well.

Options pricing is much more complex than stocks, a simple example is if you buy a call during high volatility, you will lose money the moment the volatility is gone, even if the stock is going up.

The 2/5 is given for the knowledge, training materials is good with many examples for such a complex product, its unfortunate that all this hard work doesnt pay off
