Total rubbish product!!. No tacks in the package of hooks that I purchased.I would never buy from this company again. Total waste of money and when you finally get tacks they don't hold.

Hardwall Takker is a great bit of kit…
Hardwall Takker is a great bit of kit for making a near perfect hole in your wall. Then tap in the plastic pin to hang your favourite picture. The Takker relies on a little downward pressure whilst you rotate the handle, in twists this turns the drill bit inside, mining a small hole in your wall. Its easy to do. But it can be difficult to centre the drill bit on a mark. Because the base of the Takker covers your mark. There is a little nib on the side of the Takker body which you can align on a pencil line. Having said that, its made of robust plastic, its easy to operate, it makes the same sized hole time after time, its a very good idea and its for a great price. I'd recommend this product to others.
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish. Talk does not stay in the wall. Waste of money 😡
A Bit of Practice Needed But Great Product
Pleasantly surprised how well it worked. It is very quick, simple and after watching a quick YouTube video, I was on my way.
I used it to put up approximately 30+ pictures, plates and canvases and it worked great. Great for people renting like we are. A few fails on the plunger but that was user error and not the product.
It is a little pricey for refills - £4.99 for 8 X hooks feels a lot when a nail and hook pack of 20 can be bought for a few £'s in the corner shop. Only reason it looses a star.
Well designed product and easy to use after a bit of practice. Don't be afraid to push the plunger hard. After 3 weeks, nothing seems to have moved, fallen or come down. Will report back if they ever do!
Hardwall Takker - fantastic!
Bought the Hardwall Takker as I was dreading trying to put up pictures in my rented home which has solid brick & plaster walls. Have been raving about this to friends & colleagues ever since - it does look like a cheap plastic thing, but I found it incredibly easy to use and all of my 40+ pictures & objects, including several very large frames photo collages, went up easily and are still up a week later! I didn’t even bother to use many of the picture hooks included, just hung most pictures straight into the Takks.
The little drill and plastic handle look impossibly feeble but the Takker was simple to use even though I have health issues which make my hands ache. None of the Takks I put in fell out, it really was easy to turn the handle a few times, load the Takk and push it into the wall, and when I changed my mind about the position of a couple of them it was simple to use the hook on the Hardwall Takker to pull them out.
Having moved home every 2-3 years for most of my life, I’ve had so many awful experiences of trying to use heavy drills or hammering and bending countless nails into rock hard walls. The damage done at the time and especially when removing them is awful, but the Takker leaves just a neat little hole. Honestly can’t get over this little invention - love it!
i feel scammed
i feel scammed! i purchased both takkers and my experience is the exact same as the other reviewers - oh i wish i saw the reviews before purchasing!!! the small pin just fell out after putting it into the wall, it could not hold up anything in substantial weight - so annoyed i wasted my money! it doesn’t work, i got my hopes up living in a rental. i’ll stick to command hooks
Totally unfit for purpose
I was a little surprised when I unpacked the Takker and is was about as substantial as a kid's toy out of a cracker... but they'd promised it works on plaster and the reviews on their site were glowing. I now assume they were also fictitious.
It drills a 1cm hole and allegedly then fixes a plastic plug in it on which you can hang up to 10kg. Ha! The tiny plastic plug couldn't even support it's own weight in the hole. And it absolutely does not work on plaster. I mean, it drills the hole, but not one you could actually use for anything useful.
I wouldn't trust this thing to hang a picture in a doll's house.
DO NOT BUY!!!
PLEASE STOP ADVERTISING AND SELLING IT…
PLEASE STOP ADVERTISING AND SELLING IT AS IT DOES NOT WORKS ! I wish I would’ve bought it .
Absolute waste of money
Rubbish! Put the takks in the wall and they just fall out. All customer service can suggest is it may be old plaster so hole is bigger - and to put some polyfilla on the takk before insertion!!! Total waste of money - use a hammer and nail
Doesn't do as Advertised
Bought hardwall version. Eventually got hang of using it - the diagram instructions are a bit vague - and yes it does penetrate wall but not by much. The hardwall version is advertised as holding 10kg items but the plastic piece going in wall is really short and falls out really easily. Might be suitable for light canvas pictures but no way I could trust to hang my 7-9kg framed pictures with glass fronts on anything so flimsy. Back to getting someone with a drill and proper plugs to do job. Unfortunately a waste of money.
Rubbish
The takker i bought is complete rubbish, I thought it's meant to penetrate plaster ?tried to put up a tack to hang a clock and not a chance ,maybe it works on softer surfaces but definitely not plastered block walls ,terrible
Not Worth the Money
Product arrived promptly but v. disappointed. Quality not great, cheap plastic, "Drill" hardly makes a dent in the wall let alone a hole. Tricky to use and keeps jamming. Have had to take it apart more times than I've used it. Advertising makes it look so easy - it's not. Had high hopes for this but wish I hadn't bothered - waste of money.
Misleading Advert for Flimsy Product!
The advert misleads the consumer; it shows only a ‘ tap ‘ on the red button to secure a tak. In reality this is a flimsy, plastic drill with an equally flimsy handle to wind the drill. (And I ordered the heavyweight model). You have to use it at shoulder height to get enough pressure too. The taks are also tiny and I cannot believe they will hold any weight! The plastic hooks are poor quality too! The only decent part of the unboxing was the metal picture hooks!
What a complete waste of time waste of time and money and…
What a complete waste of time and money, the first time I tried to use my talker one of the tacks jammed and will not come out.
What a waste of time money and effort.
Don’t bother just use a nail and hammer.
Absolutely garbage
Absolutely garbage
The takker jammed a pin through the device.
Took it apart to no avail as it's wedged through the device and made a hole.
Spoke to support who said If I wanted a refund I would have to pay to send it back
Shocking product
Shocking service
In the bin 1 star as I cannot rate it any lower
I don't normally leave reviews but this…
I don't normally leave reviews but this bit of kit has earned itself 5 stars. I've literally had it for half an hour and I've got hooks up and wall art actually hanging on the damn wall. Brilliant, well priced invention. I have trouble handling heavy tools but this Takker means I no longer have to stress about it.
Don’t waste your time/money - likely scam
Ordered 7th Jan.
Still no item received in post.
Inconsistent replies to emails, addressing me by incorrect name (could be a typo but beginning to think they’re are just taking the piss!) and no reply to subsequent emails requesting an update. Have since emailed again requesting a refund… surprise surprise, no response. A complete scam, don’t bother, and if not a scam - awful (non-existent customer service). Several other reviews like this in recent days on Facebook. I placed one earlier today - strangely, it disappeared from their Facebook page.
Absolutely diabolical I placed an order…
Absolutely diabolical I placed an order on the 13th of January. It is now the 27th of January and I still have not received anything not a single word from the company even though I’ve tried to contact them on social media around through their customer service I’m starting to think it’s a scam.
Cheap plastic doesn't work
Cheap plastic. Takkers get stuck. Didn't work on any wall in my house. Fiddly to unscrew. Total waste of money.
It's impossible to get the refills…
It's impossible to get the refills anywhere. I have this over a year now and it works very well but I can't get refills.
