Still room for improvement
We have worked with Swiftee over the past year, so this review is based on ongoing experience rather than a one-off booking.
Some of their drivers have been very good, professional and reliable, with clean vehicles and careful handling. However, the service quality is not always consistent.
We have had some disappointing experiences. On one occasion, a driver left a cake in an unclear location without proper communication, and the customer could not find it. When the customer contacted the driver, the response was very rude. That customer later told us they would no longer order from us if we continued using Swiftee for delivery.
On another occasion, a wedding cake was damaged during delivery. Swiftee did compensate us afterwards, and we refunded the customer in full, but the damage to customer trust was already done.
Their office/admin response is generally okay, but not always as efficient as we would hope (sometime good 👍 sometimes … meh 🫤)
Overall, Swiftee can be useful, and some drivers are genuinely good, but the inconsistency in driver quality, vehicle cleanliness, communication and handling means there is still a lot of room for improvement.
Based on our experience, 3.5/5 feels fair.

We are very sorry again about the incidents mentioned, particularly the damaged wedding cake and the communication issue. While thankfully these situations are rare across the large number of deliveries we complete, we completely understand the impact they can have on your customer experience and reputation. We also appreciate you acknowledging that we took responsibility and compensated the issue at the time.
Couriers and operations teams are human and, although mistakes can occasionally happen in logistics, our goal is always to minimise them and respond fairly and professionally when they do. Your feedback regarding consistency, communication and driver standards has been noted internally and is genuinely helpful as we continue improving the service 🙏

The delivery was great. The courier (Ermias) was friendly and polite to the recipient, amazing, and very caring of the flowers that were delivered. I couldn’t ask for more.

Knock and run
Driver knocked once, but by the time I had got downstairs he was already in his car about to drive away. Probably less than 15 seconds. Package was left completely visible, no attempt to hide it. With doorstep thefts what they are, this is poor. If you're going to essentially knock and run, at least make an effort to conceal the delivery!
