Susan Payne came very quickly when I contacted her and gave me 1% charge which was very good. It took longer than I expected for the property to be put on the market but then a number of people came to view very quickly. The buyers seemed to have a problem with their mortgage and their deposit before exchanging which I found worrying and only found out after enquiring. I expected people would be chased up but found that I always had to ask the question, after which Jan always chased up by asking either the buyers or their solicitor. Everyone in the office was always very friendly and helpful.

Professional service and great to deal with. SPP have a really good team of people and know and understand the market very well. They provide excellent advice and are very proactive. Highly recommend.

We're house-hunting on the island and spotted a property of interest to us online. We knew the location well, are cash buyers and ready to proceed immediately. We called the agent to book a viewing but were told the earliest they could do was the following Wednesday. So we accepted the appointment, arranged another ferry crossing and travelled down the day before. While en-route we got a phone call from the agent cancelling the viewing as the property was now under offer. We were astonished! We hadn't had the opportunity to view the property or make an offer. We could easily have come down earlier and had the means to bid well over the asking price if necessary. We fully accept that it's the vendor's call as to how many viewings to allow and when to accept an offer but we would have appreciated better service and communication from the agent.
