I tried to use the coin machine which duly swallowed all my coins without a receipt, a manager took my number with a promise to call when the matter was resolved, I got no call so attended shop 2 days later. I felt that I was dealt with very poorly. I was offered the princely sum of €14 for a full jar of Coins which I consider less than half the value. The attitude less than helpful

It's an ongoing bad experience with Supervalu Newcastle. Bread, milk, veg etc on display always almost out of date (ie one day out). Never freshest. Service at tills appalling as never enough staff it seems. Today at self service waited 5 minutes for assistance which only arrived when another customer asked server behind newspaper counter to call someone. This is not an exceptional experience, this is the norm.

Home delivery. After missing purchases as much as €50 worth. Usually more expensive items: Coffee olive oil etc. Suspicious, I’m starting to think someone is stealing a whole bag if one of those items is in it.

when I notice I either tell the delivery guy or call the store.

Sometimes the delivery guy comes back with some of the missing items. Not the store, every time (at least 4) I speak to them they promise call me back and to deliver next day. They never do. NEVER!

I’ve called back more promises but nothing arrives.

I’m done with them either managed by crooks, staffed by crooks.

To be clear I don’t blame the delivery drivers it’s obvious to me they are overworked.

I went in to buy vegetables last week from supervalu again and not for the first time I found that they were rotten when I returned home. I emailed supervalu about this. They decided to get the company that supplies them with the vegetables contact me instead of dealing directly with them and myself. Afterall supervalu were the ones who put the rotten vegetables on the shelf to sell them. I am also not her to sort out there supply chain. Where seemly the problem lies. At the end of the day supervalu didn't seem to care about there customers.

I got beat up by an employee of supervalu after asking where the canned tomatos. It all started at sutton cross supervalu when i peacefully went for some canned tomatos and other groceries a young fella came over and called me a 'boomer', and he gave me a nasty fist in the face! can you believe that?
I'm never EVER going back! unless they give me a bit of good ol' compensation. I want at LEAST €20, it's what i deserve for bein a veteran of 'nam

Hurleys Supervalu is fantastic , always a lot of staff around to help you . Nothing is ever a problem. They support local produce which is fantastic for the locals..good organic selection.

I was falsely accused of trying to leave the Northside shopping centre branch with an item that I had just paid for seconds earlier. This happened on Christmas eve. It was due to an incompetent member of staff who was talking to her colleagues and not concentrating on what she was meant to be doing.

I raised a complaint with the manager on duty but I'm still waiting on a reply from the store manager. I've been a customer of Supervalu for over twenty years. I'll never buy anything again from any of their branches.

JUST Wanted to WARN customers shopping in supervalue KNOCKLYON Of the theft that is going on in this store they have a policy of putting prices up at the till but not changing the price on the shelves this happens to me on a regular basis baught a big bag of keoghs roosters priced at 7.99 when I got to till it was 9.99 called the manager and I got the usual reply SORRY pointed out to her that they must have sold at least a hundred bag's as it was late that is 200 euro stolen by supervalue and she shrugged her head They know exactly what they are doing as if you go in to do a big shop you won't notice you are been Robbed this happens to me on a regular basis here as I am watching all the time but most people won't my advice to Anyone shopping at supervalue is beware as you are more than likely to be SCAMMED

The manger Andrew Knight has to be the most incompetent manager I have ever come across. Absolutely no people skills and should not be allowed interface with the public

Worst website on the planet ! The real rewards app is so confusion and it says shopping but no option to shop - a disaster

On line shopping is a disaster missing items every week and nearly out of date stock is always in your orders
You literally have to beg for refunds for your missing items customer service need a refresher course in manners

Do not touch SuperValu insurance my daughter got a quote online and let them know on the first call that she found cheaper. She has now received over 30 calls this morning alone. It’s come to a point now she has to block them. Disgraceful

Supervalu Balally is a kip staff are rude. Went there to get a 500ml bottle of water when it got scanned it came up as 1.80 I said to the cashier must be a mistake. She checked 1.80 is correct decided not to get the water, cashier then told me to put it back where I got, not even please put it back just put it back.

Where do I start! I ordered online for delivery. They charged me twice for the same item, a housekeepers cut of beef which cost €9.98, that was the first thing they fecked up.
I was having a bbq and I ordered the butchers select 1/4 pounders, should have received 6 but instead I got 4 prepackaged burgers and a single burger in a plastic bag? To make matters worse, when I read the ingredients list, the burgers had a nut derivative in them. I have a nut allergy ffs! No mention of this when you order, even my dog wouldnt eat the burgers, that ls how disgusting they were, they went straight into the bin. The yoghurts I ordered had burst and coated other items in yoghurt too, why you would put a huge watermelon in the same bag as something as fragile as yoghurts, and not expect a yoghurt explosion, i dont know? And to top the whole thing off, as if it wasnt bad enough, when i emailed Supervalu about these issues, i got an automated response back stating it can take 10-15 days for a resolution. A bunch of clowns, terrible service, absolutely disgraceful and I might add, I order from Tescos online too and I've never experienced these issues. You should be shamed of yourselves Supervalu. I will not be ordering from you again, I will also make sure my family and friends and anyone I might ever have a casual conversation with, is made aware of your horrendously horrific service. The fact that you gave me burgers that have nuts in them when I have a nut allergy is beyond belief!
