Kirill, Hadelin, and Jon break down data science concepts into digestible lessons—but you still have to put in the work. It genuinely feels like on-the-job training! I've been able to apply what I’ve learned right away, even though I’m not specifically aiming to become a data scientist. I recognize that data skills are crucial across any role or industry.

By the way, I don’t have a background in math or programming. Yet, within just 30 days, I laid the foundation for fundamental ML tasks—importing, processing, and visualizing data—while also learning new tools like Google Colab, Anaconda, VS Code, and virtual environments. This gave me a huge confidence boost.

A quick heads-up about the content: SDS is in the process of refreshing its materials. I’ve come across a few broken links and minor errors in lab steps. However, I reported them to SDS, and they fixed them right away. While some might see this as a drawback, I actually find it beneficial—it pushes me to do my own research when something doesn’t work exactly as described in a video or lab.

The community—including mentors and instructors—is so helpful. I’ve felt supported in my small learning wins, and there was no judgment when I volunteered for a project a little too soon. More experienced team members guided me while also challenging me to improve.

I would say that SDS community is an awesome platform where you can learn and collaborate. The platform is indeed a combination of well-structured courses, live labs and project collaboration which provides you with a stronger foundation in data science and machine learning. The highlight of the Super Data Science DS(data science) / ML(Machine Learning) course is the speed at which you learn concepts and most importantly "implement them" via code along practical tutorials. The intuition from Kirill is amazing and this sets the tone for the incredible practical sessions from Hadelin. This dynamic duo are the founders of SDS and they are always around on the forums to help. The Project mentor Shaheer is extremely dynamic and goes all out to make you complete projects successfully. Linda is a brilliant Data Scientist and she is the mentor for the ML path. She goes out of the way to help and solve all kinds of doubts.

I am on the verge of completing Level 2 of Machine Learning course and am already working on classification and convolutional neural network problems in the real world. This is the secret sauce - the projects help you overcome implementation inertia and sets the foundation for working on problems in the real world.

There are also top-notch courses on Gen AI app creation, Tableau courses and many other courses that are in demand in the workplace today.

By enrolling in SDS, you are setting yourself up for success. I learnt it the hard way by blowing $$ on several other courses before finding this treasure trove. If you are serious about a career in DS/ML, SDS is the place to be.

I think SDS is doing a great job supporting people at all levels, from beginners to advanced, in data science and machine learning. The collaborative projects are hands-on and easy to follow, even with my busy schedule. It is also a great place for networking. Personally, I had the opportunity to improve my resume with the help of people from SDS, as well as through the resume clinic sessions. I worked with Shaheer (Collaborative Project Mentor) and Linda (Mentor for the Data Scientist Path), both of whom are fantastic! They are genuinely willing to help. Moreover, they are very active, and the community is engaging.
