Extremely disappointed with Service and Communication
I had high expectations when choosing Suncoast Audio for my recent purchase, but my experience has been extremely frustrating, and I feel completely let down by their service and communication.
I placed an order for a product that was supposedly "in stock and ready to ship." As someone who was hoping to receive the item before Christmas, I made this clear when placing my order. Based on this assurance, I canceled an order with a competitor, Bloom Audio, as I was led to believe I’d get my product in time for the holidays.
However, after I made the purchase, I was informed that the shipping timeline was uncertain. I wasn’t told about potential delays until after completing my order. The 3-5 business day processing period was not disclosed at checkout, which meant I was left in the dark about when to expect my item. This lack of transparency and proper communication is completely unacceptable for a company that prides itself on customer service.
I attempted to follow up multiple times, including an email explaining my urgency and frustration, but I received no response. The lack of updates and proper communication has added significant frustration to an already stressful situation.
I also feel trapped due to the 15% restocking fee. Although I wasn’t initially considering cancellation, the lack of timely updates made me feel like I had no option but to reconsider my order. However, after waiting for several days, I decided to proceed with the order, but the lack of clarity still leaves me feeling uneasy.
At this point, all I am asking for is clear communication and timely updates regarding my order. I chose Suncoast Audio for its reputation, but based on my experience, I would hesitate to recommend them to others. The service I’ve received so far is not up to the standard I expected.
