My daughter is in Y12 she was getting Cs in biology and chemistry in October. We started with John a and his team she is now getting A* in both subjects in her recent assessment. John and his team have put together a personalized plan of action always happy to help and support. My middle daughter is in y9 and wants to do medical I have full confidence with study smart to see my 2 girls fulfill their dream thank you John

I reached out to studysmart as I needed help preparing for a Dentistry interview. It was very easy to reach out and John was very helpful with matching me to a tutor—Raj.

My sessions with Raj included unseen questions and immediate feedback. This method was really helpful as it tested my ability to speak confidently on the spot, and what I already knew/needed to work on. He helped me learn and apply all the important things you need to know for a dentistry interview (gdc principles, hot topics, the nhs, attributes, etc.) as well as giving me advice with how to sound natural and make a good impression. Closer to my interview we also simulated a real interview environment which was extremely useful. Without Raj’s help I would not have been as confident going into my interview!

I had a really good experience I strongly recommend this to any medical or dentistry applicant, this helped me develop my confidence in biology and chemistry and my grades improved. I really enjoyed my lessons with my tutor and it helped me to understand topics better, but I think it could be more personalised for students who need support in one specific area rather than just offering a package.

I found out about StudySmart UK through the LinkedIn app, and my first conversation with John was already really insightful. He gave a detailed presentation on the stages to apply for Dentistry, and gave me early advice in preparation for entrance exams such as the UCAT. Once I began my A-Level lessons, I definitely saw an improvement in my exam technique and ability to retain difficult content, in both Biology and Chemistry. This was all thanks to my tutor Caleb, who explained exam questions and content thoroughly and giving me advice on how he would approach it himself. As a result, I got predicted an A*AA for year 13, having achieved an AAB. I would definitely recommend these tutors.

The StudySmartUk team have always been there for me! My tutor has been very consistent in our lessons, and even rearranges them to my suitability. Explanations are very clear and easy for me to understand, and provides me with lessons to improve my weaknesses. For example, my chemistry exam technique was very poor and I ended up getting a grade A in my year 12 mocks due to the immense amount of exam questions i was provided with. Biology is a very content-heavy subject, and before StudySmartUk, I was lost when revising it. I spent hours and hours attempting to learn certain concepts through textbooks that used waffle! My tutor at StudySmartUk broke down the concepts into what I NEEDED to know, without the useless waffle that wasted my time. This led me to get a grade A in biology in my year 12 mocks.
Additionally, John, always answers all of my questions whenever I message him. Without this I feel like I would be lost within my dentistry journey. I ask questions regarding applications for opportunities (in which he helps me refines these), and I have already received a lot of guidance for my personal statement!

Extremely capable and experienced tutors. Very friendly and helpful in my Ucat process. While this is just one avenue being explored the course offers many other beneficial resources. Well structured and easy to understand website. Flexible program with time to reschedule for your needs. Many continuous lessons so skills are strengthened very quickly. 1-1 tutoring much more effective than group teaching. Overall extremely worthwhile investment in order to get ahead. Easy to get feedback to improve. Great resource to bolster confidence and ability.
