I've always had an excellent experience when buying anything from Story Teller. I've been getting bits and pieces from them in some form since 2020.

I've got the flag of each country I've been to now (which is quite a few), the only thing that would make it better for me is US State Flags as we're on a mission to visit as many States as we can but at the moment there's only one USA flag, this means I'm missing out on about 6 flags so far.

I emailed once and asked for Tenerife and this was added no issue, always had great customer service - I once was a flag down but this was made and sent to me the next day with apologies.

I love having my Flag Mate on my bag when I travel and lots of people at the airport have asked me where I have got it from.

Initially bought a keyring and 5 flags for my 10 year old son who loves travelling. Since then we have purchased a further 10 flags and he’s slowly adding to his collection. It is fantastic quality and has become a talking point when travelling

I order quite regularly to keep up my collection and always no issues at all! Lovely quality

Good quality products. On one occasion there was a flag missing and I did have to chase them via email twice for it to be sent eventually.

Have purchased a few times now, and am generally happy with the flags themselves. But only if you're looking at purchasing a standard flag/bundle with no engraving.

I sent an email to raise a concern about the engraving on my latest order (it wasn't as I'd specified). I never heard back, so instead used the contact form on the website. I was told that this wouldn't be reissued. I asked that the website be updated so it was clearer for engraving instructions (i.e. specific line 1/line 2 fields), and am disappointed to see this has not been done. I also asked why I'd had no reply to the original email and was told they had no record of it.

For a small business, it's a dangerous game to play - yes the profits will be limited at this stage, but their customer service means I won't recommend to others, and sadly probably won't buy more.

I started by buying 2 flags for my granddaughter and I was so impressed by their quality that I have since bought many more, plus 2 key rings, for various family members and friends. Everyone I’ve given them to has been delighted, especially with the personalisation on the back! The communication has been brilliant too, with questions answered quickly. I cannot recommend Storyteller highly enough! Thank you.

I was bought my Flagmate as a Christmas gift to keep track of my travels. I absolutely love it. The flags are perfect in colour and of good quality. I have since received more flags as gifts and will definitely be getting more!

I love love love this item, as a keen traveller I love collecting my flags that are a constant reminder of all the wonderful places I’ve been to and the beautiful memories that have been created.

Thank you for creating this item, there are many companies that have similar items, but nothing compares to the storyteller flags!

The flags are really well made, and the engraving option makes them such a nice keepsake. I’ve used the company multiple times and plan on continuing to use them each time I travel somewhere new!

This is such an amazing company. I came across it 3 years ago and bought myself the flatmate and 3 flags, initially thinking they were a cute addition to my keys, It’s now an obsession. I now have 17 flags and am always thinking of where to go next just to get a new one! I carry my flatmate on my bag where ever I go and it’s always a great conversation starter! It’s eye catching and everyone asks to see it! All the proceeds are for a great cause too! The customer service is really good. The personalisation is great so I don’t forget the details. We are a family of 5 and all have one. Hoping more flags will be available soon..

Found this company at the beginning of 2025, and love the flag idea and even better your flag can be engraved

I love the flags and the whole idea of it. Myself and my partner have our own so we are building up our collection. Overall our experience has been very good. There was one time for some reason I found it difficult to put the engraving in the order but it has since been fine. Also one time where one flag didn’t turn up with the rest of the order so we had to chase it a couple of times, but whoever it was we spoke to was very nice and helpful and got it sorted for us. Am just about to place my next order so will use and recommend again.

Storyteller flags have become a staple of my travelling. The flags and flatmate are a very high quality and I would recommend them to anyone who is a keen traveller

Fabulous idea these little flags.

I had previously written a good review for this company. But they have gone downhill dramatically! I ordered on the 1st of this month and have not received anything, and had no response to my email asking for information! I have previously bought from this company multiple times, but I will not be doing so again! I want my money back!

Always quality well made products received. I have ordered over 6 x from this website and never had a problem. Sometimes a little slow to ship and not kept updated on the journey but the products and pricing are amazing

My Daughter loves her flags detailing where she’s travelled. Always received the flags in a reasonable time. The flags are good quality and the engraving is done well. My only criticism is that I’ve never received a confirmation of order email which does leave you wondering if the order has gone through.

Used this company for many orders but my latest experience has been awful, received flags that were engraved wrongly, one totally missing. Contacted Storyteller via their website, which is very antiquated. Had no response. Sent a second enquiry, where I was asked to provide details again. Still no flags arrived. Contacted Bhav Patel, the company’s Founder, via email on numerous occasions to be told of the numerous errors their end and promises of the missing flags that would be sent to me. Was even told I would receive a refund. This issue has been going on since 3 June 2025 and to date, still no flags or refund - absolutely shocking customer service - will not be using this diabolical company again.
