I'm quite disappointed that my storage unit 797 was broken into (lock broken with bolt cutters). When CTV footage was reviewed by Storage King staff, two males (one Asian) can be seen taking several tubs of my belongings. Was I supposed to take out insurance, to ensure I was covered for theft?

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we completely understand how distressing this experience has been. Following our investigation into the incident on 11 September, CCTV footage confirmed that two individuals entered the facility using your unique access code and were seen removing items from your unit. Unfortunately, as your secure access code was used, this suggests that your access details may have been compromised.
As discussed, insurance is offered and recommended at the time of sign-up to provide cover in situations such as theft or damage. While optional, it is an important safeguard against unforeseen events.
We have advised you to report the matter to local police, and we will continue to cooperate fully to assist their investigation. Please don’t hesitate to contact our office directly if you require further support or any documentation for your report.

The staffs are friendly and the process…
The staffs are friendly and the process has been simple. I didn’t give them a five star just because I was originally told that the $400 bond for van rental would be waived under their new system but then when we went to collect the van we were told they won’t be running the new system.

Very easy and simple to organise. And I like the fact that they have some equipment to easily move the heavier and bulkier items around.

easy to park, plenty of equipment trolleys to use to make moving so easy. really liked that Storage king has staffed hours just adds to even better safety to your storage

Very accommodating and helpful!
Storage King have been fantastic with our needs, originally booked a 3/4 garage but when that wasn't big enough they put aside a full garage. Made moving all of our things in very easy!
