Stocalf have been brilliant from start…

Stocalf have been brilliant from start to finish. The team were brilliant with me from the initial get go sorting my car roadside to dealing with my hire car that came extremely quickly and then the ongoing process of dealing with the claim, taking the stress away from me having to go through my insurance. I would Definately recommend them to all my friends and family going forward. Excellent service all round!! Thanks Stocalf

It is disappointing to see that you are unhappy with the vehicle provided.
The morning following delivery, I believe you noticed the tyre had deflated due to a nail. Upon delivery, the vehicle dashboard did not indicate a loss of tyre pressure or subsequent warning. On the same day we sent a driver to replace that flat tyre, apologies for any inconvenience.
Today, you have raised to us that there appears to be something hanging down underneath the car which we immediately sent out a replacement vehicle for you which has been delivered. Again, apologies for the inconvenience caused.

The good, the bad and the very ugly!

Following a non fault car accident last year my husband got in touch with Stocalfe who arranged collection of the car and next day provided him with a courtesy car. He signed what he thought were handover documents and all was well. A month later we received monies for our car which had been written off and a week later the courtesy car was returned. All good so far and we were pleased with their communications. However, yesterday 4 months or so later, we found out the other parties insurance company will not pay the invoice Stocalf has sent them for the hire car charges (at this stage the invoice was for just under £24,000 for 40 days of hire) and now their solicitors have written to us asking for both our financials, bank statements etc and how we've paid for our new car so please be careful accepting a courtesy car from them as it’s actually a hire car credit form you are signing for which was never explained to my husband, just papers shoved under his nose to sign quickly. Not his best move I know but he’s dyslexic and was stressed he had put his trust in others. This is terribly frightening for us as pensioners and has added angst to go with our current health woes. Not sure how this will end 🥹
Post note: after 19 months of worry and having received court papers with my husbands name on them taking other driver to court for the £24,000, we finally got a call from the solicitors saying the third parties insurance company had settled and there was no further recourse to my husband.

We are glad to read that you were pleased with the initial service delivery. I believe a Director has now spoken with you to provide reassurance regarding the claims process and the journey thus far.
Unfortunately, in some circumstances at fault insurance companies can be very difficult to deal with and unresponsive. They may choose to prolong the settlement process and refuse to pay out for the claim. They can legally request evidence regarding your financial situation and others losses which we have to adhere to.
In terms of legal documents your husband would be signing during the initial claims process, he would have signed the Credit Hire Agreement detailing the costs of the service and his legal obligations and separately a vehicle handover document agreeing to the vehicle condition and fuel amount upon delivery/collection. These are perfectly normal.

Excellent Customer Service

I was unfortunately involved in an accident which wasn’t my fault. Stocalfe responded really quickly and I was given a hire car the following day due to my car being in road worthy. Luke and Jack couldn’t have handled my claim any better and was able to obtain liability from the other drivers insurance. The communication was clear and consistent, no questions was left unanswered. I can’t recommend this company enough!

Very confusing

Very confusing. I'm still unsure if this company was acting as insurers (they were not my insurers, I was led to believe they were) or just car hire company after I had an accident with my car.

We adhere to all online advertising policies and always make clients aware that we are an Independent Claims Management company at all times. We advise our clients of the benefits of using our company and we help large numbers of clients daily with recovery, hire vehicles after an accident which we aim to conclude swiftly and with a positive outcome.

Excellent Customer Service

Can highly recommend this company after being unfortunately involved in an accident which resulted in my car being wrote off. All staff were fantastic especially Megan and Felicity who I mainly spoke to and went to extensive lengths to fight our corner with both the 3rd parties insurance company for settling my claim and the finance company who even “lost” our £10,000 payment we made! Nothing was too much trouble and now we have it sorted finally. Excellent service, a credit to the company.

Great service received after a drink…

Great service received after a drink driver hit my parked car. Hire car was received within 48 hours and they picked the hire car up the day after mine was returned all fixed and ready to go! Good communication and assistance all the way through.

Thank you stocalfe for putting my mind at ease after i was involved in an accident that wasn't my fault. They were super helpful and efficient, and were in constant communcation with me. I received a hire car very quickly and also paid out for my vehicle super fast too. Would definitely recommend to anyone who finds themself in a similar situation to myself.

Bad Management

I personally wouldn't want to give any stars.
Reading all these reviews it seems Stocalfe have good communication with their clients that have had an accident, flip it over to the communication to the bodyshop that has repaired a vehicle and would like paying it seems they are extremely reluctant. I have been chasing a nearly £4000 invoice since April 2023, when you email a finance manager and an operations manager that doesn't give a definite response for the payment what hope do you have. We as a company along with others that I know of will no longer take any work from this company.

I was unfortunate enough to be involved…

I was unfortunate enough to be involved in a road traffic collision recently, which was very unsettling. I used Stocalfe to deal with my claim, and my claim handler was Megan. She was calm, efficient and confident when dealing with myself and my case and which I was grateful for in the circumstances. I would recommend this company to anyone, thank you 😊

I had an accident a few months ago and…

I had an accident a few months ago and was recommended Stocalfe. I dealt with a woman called Megan who was very helpful, she couldn’t have done more for me My claim was sorted super fast and I had no issues at all. I would highly recommend Stocalfe and the lady I spoke to. She was great!
