Customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. Every time I called, they put me on hold for ages and never actually solved the issue.

**Fahmid Al Naim: A Notorious Scam Artist**
Fahmid Al Naim is a prime example of a scam artist preying on people's hopes and dreams. A quick glance at social media reveals how many individuals have suffered financial loss due to his deceitful tactics. While courses are intended to teach valuable skills, he fails to deliver any real education. In fact, he lacks the knowledge himself, having never worked in a marketplace, yet he claims to teach others about freelancing.
As someone with a background in tech and digital industries, it’s clear to me that this is nothing more than a manipulation tactic targeting those unfamiliar with the tech and business landscape.
The real victims are ordinary people who fall for promises of easy money, shown success stories and lavish lifestyles, only to be sold courses that deliver far less than advertised.
Examples of such misleading claims include:
- "Take this course and you’ll earn thousands of dollars."
- "Start your own agency in just one month."
- "Follow my exact path to success."
In reality, these courses often provide only basic or surface-level information. Many participants find they don’t even receive the promised materials after paying. These sellers profit immensely by collecting fees from thousands, offering little to no genuine value.
Fahmid initially gained attention by selling blenders, reportedly moving over 1,000 units. However, such short-term trends don’t equate to building a sustainable business or career.
Ultimately, this approach is detrimental to the public, as it exploits individuals' desires for a better life.
**A Word of Caution:** Don't fall into the trap of this scam artist. Protect yourself and your finances from deceitful schemes like Fahmid Al Naim's.
They are scammer.
I'm from workshop 2nd batch.
Experience is very very very bad.
I am member of stepup, enrolled course 25k BDT, but getting value from course is 00 BDT. Don’t invest your time & money here.

Frist of all, I have to admit that he is the smartest scammer in Bangladesh right now. Why? let me give you some reasoning.
1. They or he will said to you; they are going to make your a legit entrepreneur in 6 months if you follow their guideline, but when you enroll into their business workshop, in the first place, he will say that in this course, you might be able learn 5% and rest of the 95% you might be already knew, so the 5% will be the game changer of the business, is that even believable?.-- When i heard this for the first time in the beginning of the course, I was quite sure this is a scam. If i knew 95% of any development business, then why the hell did i enroll here? What is the point? In that moment, i felt that i am an idiot.
2. They are trying to create a loop in the Digital marketing sector and other sector of business development, rather than giving the right particular skill sets to people, they are feeding your everything in moderate understanding. In that case when you fall into some problem, they give you the service in exchange of money.
In the course, i did not feel like, their 25k BDT course is providing that caliber of info to drastically change your career path. there are a lot of IT center who are providing way much more value within just 5k BDT.
3. In the course, he says, success totally depends on your networking, your skillsets, your strongpoints. Do you think those who have them will enroll in you Business workshop? Those who do not have them, have gone to you: now he is telling without them stepup or famid will not help you directly? He also admits that most of the people will be unsuccessful in the workshop, but they will not do anything about the unsuccessful ones, they prioritize only existing businesses who are doing fine already.
4. Here is the real scam, they say, they are the only one who is offering dedicated support system, But that is a lie, there are also other IT companies providing one to one support. Also step-up's support system is not good, according to course purchaser. Sometimes They takes several days to solve any problem, some have faced problem but they did not help the entrepreneur in months past by.
5. There are a lot of entrepreneur in BD and also business professionals who are way more experienced that this guy. But he will pretend, he is the only one who know how to build a business.
6. He is trying to become like a famous "British Entrepreneur - Name: Iman Gadzhi" in Bangladesh. this guy also offers similar course in international platforms by fooling people with fake dreams.
7. If he is legit to his words, then why had he launched their course into Graphy.com to hide all the content from general people to explore. They will say for their privacy, but i will say to not giving people any chance to prove their scam, that is their main motive.
8. You see, he will try to justify all the arguments, by saying a lot of stuff, but in reality they are afraid of negative comments about them. In the business course, they say that if you are aligned with some negative perspective or criticize them, if they find out, they will ban you.
9. Even as Business graduate and as a digital marketer, i got scammed. Then how the general people will understand their true motive? that is question.
There are also a lot of issues that i can address, which will lead you to the same point that he/stepup is fooling people, I wish there is something to do about it legally. Or there will be a lot of people who will going to fall into their trap. He is taking a huge chunk of money form people (25k BDT each = a monthly salary of someone) , by selling recorded video and giving bullshit support to people.
Note: Now stepup will reply, everything is false. A thief will always say, he has not done it. People do not have any time to bullshit around in Trustpilot to give negative reviews.
I am member of stepup, enrolled course 20k BDT, but getting value from course is 500BDT. Don’t invest your time & money here.

Recently one of their employee who is not so good at his work, hired me as a freelancer to complete his work. He claimed that he is an expert at his work, but his knowledge level was so poor.
Continuously he forced me to do the task, but after the task was done, he didn't pay me a single penny!
When I told him that, Stepup is a fraud, he started misbehaving with me. So bad experience. They should be in jail and punished!

These days, we’re seeing a growing trend where individuals or organizations use emotional and motivational speeches to sell online courses. On the surface, it may look inspiring—they promise thousands of dollars in income, building your own agency, and achieving quick success. But is this really as good as it sounds?
As someone with a background in tech and digital industries, I can clearly see that this is nothing more than skimming tactics—a form of manipulation targeting people who don’t fully understand how the tech or business world really works.
The real victims here are regular people—those who are unfamiliar with technology but get caught in these traps by falling for the dream of easy money. They are shown success stories, luxury lifestyles, and inflated income claims, only to be sold a course that delivers far less than promised.
For example:
"Take this course and you’ll earn thousands of dollars."
"Start your own agency in just one month."
"Follow my exact path to success."
In most cases, what these courses actually provide is very basic content or just surface-level information. Often, people don’t even receive all the promised materials after paying. These sellers take a fixed amount of money from thousands of people and make a fortune—while offering little to no real value in return.
The person in question originally gained popularity by selling blenders—reportedly selling over 1,000 units. That may have worked for a short time as part of a trend, but building a long-term business or career doesn’t work that way.
Ultimately, this isn’t helpful to the general public. In fact, it’s harmful because it feeds off people’s hopes, dreams, and desperation for a better life.
👉 From my perspective, this is a complete scam.

Many Peoples joined STEPUP as a middle class after watching all those flashy ads where Fahmid was showing people making millions of taka and living a dream life. As a middle class person, they thought this could change their life too. They believed his words and paid over 25,000৳ by taking loans, savings etc.
But after joining, everything changed.
In the beginning, he shows dreams of easy money and success. But once the course starts, you realize there’s nothing special. Most of the content is just motivational talk, no real learning or support. He even asks for your Facebook Business Manager access, saying it’s needed for ad setup, but then he removes the real owner and takes full control. we saw this happen to others too.
The worst part is, once people start realizing the truth, he launches a new course with a new name, just to collect money from more innocent peoples. It feels like the whole thing is based on fraud money. Even the people who work with him are rude and unprofessional, they’re just there to trap more people.
This has been a heartbreaking experience for us. People trusted him and wasted money and time. Please don’t make the same mistake. STEPUP is not what it claims to be.
Final advice: Stay away from STEPUP and Fahmid Al Nayeem. It's all a scam.

StepUp is a complete scam. They are cheating beginners by giving them various kinds of giveaways with exaggerated ads. They first make them dream of becoming millionaires by giving them free courses, then they take them to paid workshops. There are very basic courses which are always available for free on YouTube. People cannot learn anything by doing these workshops. Their support is also very bad and those who provide support are extremely ignorant. They have no technical knowledge.
Not only will you lose all your money by taking paid workshops, but also your valuable time and money invested in your business will be lost.

They are scamming from non-techies by selling some readymade shitty wordpress designs. 200+USD for a shitty woocommerce site with pixel is like buying a bmw from toy store.
I mean the facebook itself would know that they are scamming from this shitty free facebook marketing course. look, the course is free, he is giving 10 laptops to the free learners, and he is running ads on facebook to join his free course. why the guy is spending too much for his free course?
I know that's the business. But not this way. This is not the right way to do business. He made himself a public figure (500k+ followers alone in fb) by paying local influencers (Solaiman Shukhon, Nasir tamzid, even that guy from buet). Obviously, he is ripping those free learners by selling them those shitty sites, email marketing, blah blah.

I recently joined the Step Up Business Workshop and paid 25,000 BDT for the program. However, after making the payment, I faced significant difficulties in getting access to the learning portal. It took multiple calls and several days before they finally provided me with access.
Additionally, they did not assign a Key Accounts Manager (KAM) right away. When I reached out to them regarding this, it again took several days before they assigned someone. Unfortunately, my experience with the assigned KAM has been quite disappointing. Her behavior has been extremely unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful. She rarely responds to messages and, when she does, her replies lack support or clarity.
Overall, the entire process has felt disorganized and inefficient, and I struggled to find a reliable point of contact throughout. I'm not sure if others have faced similar issues, but my experience so far has been far from satisfactory.
UPDATE:
I’m surprised by StepUp’s response denying my enrollment. I have solid proof of my participation and payment, including:
Payment receipt of 25,000 BDT
Official invoice issued by StepUp
Email conversation with their team
Access details to the learning portal
Messages exchanged with the assigned Key Account Manager (KAM)
I am happy to provide this evidence to Trustpilot or any relevant authority to verify the authenticity of my experience. My intention is not to harm any business but to honestly share what I went through — so others can make informed decisions.
I hope StepUp chooses to address this matter professionally instead of dismissing a legitimate customer's feedback.
