My wife bought this skillet for me…
My wife bought this skillet for me preseasoned, 8 months later we got it! I imeaditaly tryed it out. 2 eggs stuck horribly. Tryed again, same results. There seems to be 2 areas in the frying surface that always stick! I've reseasoned it ay least 5 times. tryed flax seed oil, lard, bacon grease, same results, 2 areas always stick. Finally I gave up, put it in my selfcleaning oven and ran it. 3 hours later I removed it and scrubbed it with a brillow pad and hot water, next I ran my drill with a wire brush all over the cooking surface. Rewashed it with hot soapy water and dried it and put it on the burner and burnt off any remaning moisture. Then I reseasoned it with flax oil, same results, sticking in 2 areas. Reaseasoned with Lard, no change. Seasoned with bacon grease, same results. Worst $100 we've ever spent!!!!!
