Amazing service, have received my stamp duty back!

I am highly dubious about this company and its ethics. They wrote me an unsolicited letter stating, inter alia, "if your property required repair works, you may be eligible for a Stamp Duty rebate of £10,000s".
I cannot find that repair works per se entitle anyone to a rebate. The principle in P N Bewley Ltd would appear to be that the house would have to be uninhabitable. Before anyone goes further they might want to search for tax org uk stamp-duty-refunds-too-good-to-be-true and some of the links.
Whilst the company offers a refund of fees and penalties if the claim is disallowed, it is of note that these are claims that are paid first by HMRC and checked later. So recent satisfied reviews might not give a true picture.

Good company to deal with.

It took time (5 months) to get the rebate back but happy with the outcome.

Completed all application details arrange call back appointment. Waited anxiously for three days then told the house value must be a minimum of £905,000.
Nowhere does it state this on the website. Waste of time for majority of most homeowners.

The first initial contact was professional and took there time to explain the process. Although at first we were hesitant to proceed there was no pushy sales tactics and gave us time to come to agreements where need be.
