Buy from anyone else. Anyone.

Nothing about this company's website is accurate. You get 'scam' vibes from almost every part of it - no stock confirmation, no recent news or blog posts, and frequent layout and spelling mistakes. The FAQ section still has the CMS placeholder text FFS. They have no reviews on Trustpilot, and it looks like they're trying to avoid the dismal reputation they've left on their previous website (by removing a singular hyphen, no less - same brand but web domain is now stagegear.co.uk). More fool me for trying to use them.

Since nothing is accurate, you only learn the truth once you've ordered:
-Website says standard postage is £10. LIE: they charged £12 for postage.
-Website says item will be dispatched same-day if before 2pm, else next business day. LIE: item was dispatched three business days later, and only after I chased it with a phone call.
-When your item arrives, it's not even dispatched by this company. LIE: They don't stock their own products, and outsource orders without making this clear on the website.

The website is so basic it doesn't offer order tracking, and they don't bother to send you the parcel tracking number that you've paid a non-significant amount for.

The item that arrived was the wrong item, and bore little resemblance to what I had ordered. They had clearly put just passed an incorrect SKU to a third party without checking whether it was what was ordered. Minimal effort, maximum waste of everybody's time.

The email I sent them to let them know went unanswered. I then tried calling within opening hours, but all options went to voicemail. I tried again at the end of the day, got through to someone who promised to call me back, then didn't.

Calling again the next day, I got through to a woman who couldn't find my email, despite the previous staff member having read it. They blamed their 3rd party supplier, and could only offer a return and refund as "We can't find any other suppliers for this item". When I put the phone down I found the same item on Amazon within 30 seconds.

It is a shame that the level of effort invested in their website was mirrored in how they treat actual customers. In short, an amateur pack of lies disguised as an online shop front, and will only lead to you wasting your time and money. Avoid at all costs.

VERY UNRELIABLE: Order not received and all contact ignored. I have placed (and paid for) an order of just under £200 on 17th November 2021. There is still no sign of it (20th Dec). I have emailed and telephoned multiple times and have been told that someone will ring straight back, (they didn't), or just ignored. This is supposed to be a very special Christmas present and I haven't got the money to buy a new one now. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Thank you for your feedback, we are very sorry that your 600mm mirror ball has not arrived in time and we were unable to offer an alternative from any of our multiple suppliers.
As 2021 closes our industry is now experiencing extremely unpredictable lead times due to shipping container time scales being moved back each week, and even some leading brands now suggesting late March to June for new stocks of certain products.
We can only hope the world wide stock issues in the entertainment industry improve in 2022, and once again apologise that your item remains out of stock.

Dance flooring with next day delivery …

I ordered some dance flooring with next day delivery on the 23rd of March, which admittedly is bad timing due to the lock down, however I emailed a few days later, to find out how this would effect delivery and have not had a response to date, currently 06th April. So, although I cannot comment on the product yet, I would have thought someone could have answered emails to those orders outstanding?

Purchased an item from the online…

Purchased an item from the online store, but later informed it had been out of stock for a while. In fairness my credit card was recredited quite quickly, but my rating is for giving misleading information regarding being in stock, which prompted me to proceed with the purchase.

very poor

Site said items were in stock so we ordered only to be told a week later that they were no longer available.
Went back and found an alternative item listed as in stock so phoned first and discovered that that was discontinued as well. Took about a week to get the refund into our account as well. Shoddy.

I see that you ordered on the 1st of January on our website, due to the Christmas and New Year period the company was partially closed till the 6th of January.

When the warehouse informed us of no stock we checked with the manufactures, sadly that item was a discontinued product so a colleague of mine contacted you to inform you and she worked with the manufacturer to try and find an alternative.

When our accounts department returned on the 6th of January the refund was authorised, and this can sometimes take a few days to show up on the account.

We have over 14,000 products on our website and work with many manufacturers in the industry, unfortunately, this can sometimes result in the manufacturer discontinuing products without informing the suppliers.

Once again I would like to apologise for all the difficulties you faced.

Little disappointed

A little disappointed as when I received acknowledgement of my order, it said "Once your package ships we will send an email with a link to track your order." I got an email later to say the order was being "Processed" but nothing to say it was "shipped" & then eventually it arrived. The Processed email said to log into my account but I never opened an account.
Goods OK, Packaging OK Thank you.
