I am getting emails from Spot2Nite, which I never signed up for.
When I hit the UNSUBSCRIBE button, I get everything except the ability to unsubscribe.
This makes me question the integrity of the entire platform.

Misleading pricing and fees
Booked a site in Florida. Price was apx. $58.00. Spot2Nite confirmation read $58.00X1 and charged $68.00. Then charged an additional 6.00 fee for their service. I questioned the accuracy and was told the additional $10.00 were park service fees although not disclosed. I found this extremely misleading and will never use this app going forward.

Fees, Fees and more fees! watch out for booking fees, credit card fees (which are outrageous $8) and cancellation fees if your plans change. A Spot2night cancelation fee of >$30 AND the campground fees. For a $286.92 booking we had to cancel more than 30 days in advance, my fees came to $53.12!!!

Spot2Nite honors the cancellation policies of each campground, which are transparent before booking-- and you did incur a cancellation fee from the campground. For the booking fees from Spot2Nite, we find that many of our travelers enjoy Spot2Nite+, which is an annual membership with the benefit of, among other things, zero booking fees for unlimited reservations. Our real-time availability and price comparisons with thousands of spots across North America help travelers save time and avoid contacting individual campgrounds and waiting on hold. While there are modest booking fees to support this platform, our Spot2Nite+ members will never pay a booking fee while they are subscribed. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help!

Don’t fall for the 14 free trial
When visiting the Spot2Nite booth at the 2024 Tampa RV show we decided to see if this would work for us. Agreeing to a 14 day trial. After 7 days we decided it was not for us. I tried to cancel the trial but could not find ANY option for cancelation. I opted to cancel the account. To my surprise on day 15, Spot2Nite processed the $59.99 membership. I contacted my credit card company, informed them I did recognized Spot 2Nite but that I had canceled the trial within the 14 days. They suggested I file a dispute which I did. That prompted several emails and phone conversations between me and Spot2Nite.They have agreed numerous times(with emails stating they owe me a refund and it was their software error, but they have another problem and can’t process a refund. Their accounting system can’t do a refund if there is an open dispute. Sounds like another software problem to me. Their only solution is for me to cancel the dispute and “trust them” as they try to assure me they are good for their word. Why should I start now? This has going on for several weeks and they insist I cancel my dispute. Per my credit card company, if I cancel the dispute I have no further rights to any other disputes with Spot2Nite. Spot2Nite admitted that if i cancel the dispute I can’t go back to the credit card company and again I can only trust them.
My suggestion to the RVing community be aware and find other solutions.

Hi Ronnie, I understand your frustration with the situation. We're truly sorry for any inconvenience the cancellation and refund process has caused. While you deleted your user profile on our website under the assumption the subscription would cancel, we were not aware of that action or desire, and your actual subscription was still intact. We have worked to make that process more clear for all our future travelers.
Due to bank policies regarding disputes, we're unable to issue a refund until the dispute is resolved or withdrawn. This isn't a policy Spot2Nite controls, as it is a financial institutional policy we are bound to follow, but we are committed to refunding you as soon as we're able to, in line with these banking procedures. As we have mentioned several times, you will be completely refunded, as you certainly attempted to cancel your trial during the allotted time.
If you would like to discuss your refund further, please reach out to us, and we are looking forward to the bank's conclusion of the dispute so we can get you refunded every penny you are due.

Hidden fees
Hidden fees. Rv site markup. Viewed Twin Lakes Rv resort on Goodsams web site. I was directed from Goodsams web site to spot2nite for booking. That led me to believe Twin Lakes Rv resort uses
spot2nite for their booking. I had to pay reservation in full 395.95 which included Goodsams discount. I checked in at Twin Lakes Rv resort. My receipt that was given to me stated 348.00. Spot2nite charged me 47.55 more in hidden fees. Twin Lakes Rv resort stated they do not use spot2nite as their booking platform. Manager at Twin Lakes Rv resort stated when they enrolled in Goodsams they were told that customers will not be charged more than 22.00 in fees. Spot2nite is sniping customers to their booking from Goodsams and charging exorbitant fees. SNEAKY BAD BUSINESS SPOT2NITE !!!!!!!!!

Many of our travelers value this convenience and choose to subscribe so they do not have any booking fees for the entire year to use this service for unlimited booking. Others choose to pay a one time booking fee for the convenience of saving time and energy to find great locations.

Booking Fee Ripoff…
When making a campground reservation I was surprised to see a reservation fee of $24.00 which amounted to $6.00 per night. The fee could be waived if I signed up for a free 14 day subscription to Spot2Nite after which they would charge an automatically renewing monthly fee. I didn't buy in to this scam and instead called the campground directly to make the reservation.

I booked an expensive space 2 nights at…
I booked an expensive space 2 nights at Big Pine Key Fishing Resort. $277. Back in oceanfront, full hook ups. What I got was no hookups and a small space, which I refused to accept. I argued with the mgmt who told me Spot2nite had no connection to them, and once I paid Spot2nite there was nothing they could do, or had any obligation to do. However, for $54 MORE they happened to have one space left with hookups I could have. So for $331 I got a space with hook ups nowhere near the water for 2 nights. All I know is, I want out of here. And, first and last time I'll ever camp here or use Spot2nite. Totally disgraceful and unconscionable. Never, ever again.

Poop everywhere
Nobody was made to clean up after their dogs I have never seen anything like it dogs get parvovirus from feces so maybe in stead of checking insurance at check in maybe shot records or just make people clean up after their dogs they don’t even act like they are going to I was told by someone shortly after arriving can’t use the dog park because of feces

Not reliable for open sites.
I attempted reservation twice with this site. Both times after accepting my payment they cancelled my reservations saying the sites had been book prior. The site does not give current information.
