I would not recommend Speedy Skips in Stroud.

The skip was collected over a week later than agreed, which was very inconvenient. To make matters worse, I was charged an extra £80 for disposing of two mattresses. At no point when I hired the skip was I clearly warned that mattresses would incur such a high additional charge.

For comparison, the local council would have collected three bulky items for around £35, making the extra charge seem excessive.

If I had been informed of these costs beforehand, I would have made different arrangements. Just be aware of the potential extra charges before hiring a skip from this company.

What an excellent service in the Cheltenham area, it was so refreshing!
Special mention to a very helpful lady called Lowery she went above and beyond to accommodate my short notice request. The guys dropped off the skip and picked it up as promised. I don't normally write reviews but they are worth it!

DO NOT USE, ITS A SCAM. They will take your money and it will come out of your account but this may not be processed. By the time you find out it is too late to order elsewhere.

This is done to monopolise the Skip hire business, they try to complete the orders with local companies but when they cant they offer a date they can. Stay will a local company and avoid, you will be let down

Excellent service. Delivering guy was pleasant, helpful and on time. Communication was by MSN for pickup and removal. Removal was on the day I booked and I had no problems. The price was normal - don't go for the cheaper companies (they just don't turn up on the correct day). Would I use them again - of course.
