A big thank you to everyone at Spartan for helping us to achieve our dream of owning an amazing top of the range VW Campervan conversion. To say we are happy is the understatement of the century. We have not stopped grinning since we picked up our new van just over two weeks ago!.
Our journey with Spartan began three months ago when we arranged an appointment with them to find out what they were all about. We'd seen some of the vans they had for sale on the website and were really keen to have a look and a chat with them to find out what options were available to us for our budget. We met Joe and Mark and they showed us the vans and explained how things worked. We were absolutely blown away with everything we saw and the passion and enthusiasm that Joe and Mark clearly have for the products that Spartan produce. So that was it we were sold - hook line and sinker!!
We decided there and then that the way to go for us was to let the guys find us a van to meet our requirements and to convert it for us within our budget.
We then had a few weeks to wait until they had carefully sourced us our van ready for conversion. In that time I can honestly say that we never stopped thinking and dreaming about all the adventures we were going to have!
Once our van had been purchased we went back to Spartan to spec our conversion and then five weeks later we returned again to pick it up as the finished campervan of our dreams! What can we say...we were completely blown away with the results! It's an absolute show stopper!
We have just returned from our first trip and we are still smiling from ear to ear.
Thanks a million times over to everyone at Spartan who helped our dream come true. Especially to Mark who was a continuous source of contact in those weeks when we were like two stupidly excited children waiting for Christmas Day 😂😂

We visited Spartan just with the intention of looking at what was available and what we could afford. We came away with a deposit paid on an almost completed van. It was love at first sight!

We were blown away with the thoughtful design and excellent build quality, the van we were shown ticked all our boxes and more.

Everyone we met was very genuine, helpful and knowledgeable. It is obvious that the whole team have a real passion for, and pride in, what they do, which is design and build beautiful camper vans.

As new campers, we really appreciated the thorough handover. It’s good to know that we can contact the team for support and guidance in the future if we need it. The warranty gives peace of mind.

Love our van from spartan. The whole process was seamless from initial contact to handover. Mark was first class and kept me informed with updates and photos of the build as we are in north east scotland. The handover was great also with plenty time taken to show us how everything worked and answered any questions. The camper van is stunning and high quailty finish and attention to detail. Well, what can I say about Spartan Campers, other than fantastic, from our first contact all the way through handover this morning. The whole process has been excellent, brilliant communications, fantastic customer service, and a great understanding of what we wanted and how to provide it.

I had contacted a couple of other companies with a view to a custom build, having seen some of their vans advertised I decided to contact Mark and Joe at Spartan.

We had viewed a number of dealerships to see what we wanted, and filled in the form online. They came back to us almost immediately, we went through our requirements, and they said they could provide it within 8-10 weeks, we booked a build slot. However they came back to us a few hours later with a vehicle that was in production, different exterior colour to what we had originally considered however it was a two tone copper and white which was stunning.

We decided to go with it as it was the exact spec, and as it was pre production we were able to change a few times such as the upholstery colour, wheels and we added an additional side table as was long wheelbase and an Awning rail.

We were able to arrange a handover for just over 3 weeks from initial contact, with updates and constant communication throughout.

The van was perfect when we collected we had an over 2hour handover, went through the vehicle and everything and even got a tour of the facilities, near in everything is hand made and done on site, kitchens, paint shop etc.

I can't thank Mark and Joe enough, they are so passionate and dedicated and you can see that in their whole team with the quality of the end result.

Anyone even looking should get in touch with them, they are fantastic and highly recommend them to anyone.

We absolutely love our van, which Spartan turned around in record time for us following the loss of our last van (built elsewhere ) in an accident. I’m still not well enough to go anywhere in it, but it’s drawing admiring glances from friends and neighbours and we’re desperate to try it out for real as it’s quite an upgrade on our previous van (all sorts of great features that I know will make a difference like the lithium battery, heater, inside water tank, swivel seat on rails and the large wardrobe) Spartan team were really communicative and helpful, and really open about their processes, showing us around the factory. Great experience. The warranty offers peace of mind too.

Spartan have been fantastic, from start to finish, we’ve got our very first custom built camper and we LOVE it! It’s more than we ever thought we could afford, highly recommend!

We went to look for campervans about 8 weeks ago and we decided to stay local in Coventry if we could and help our local businesses.

We saw our van when it wasn't completed and it wasn't the original one we wanted but we went back and saw the finished van and we decided that was the van that fitted the spec we wanted.

The spec on the conversions are absolutely 1st class. You couldn't ask for more, although Spartan kindly threw in our solar panel and Reimo rail too. All vans are absolutely top notch and the conversion includes a microwave too 👍

As for customer service, we couldn't ask for more from the minute we first visited to picking up our van yesterday.

Joe took the time to go through everything for our handover and if we had any questions then he was at hand to ask and responded quickly.

10/10 to Spartan Campers. If you're looking to buy a converted van or have one converted, then we can't recommend them enough.

What can I say about Joe and the team, other than top quality workmanship and excellent service. Just picked up my newly converted van today and it has exceeded my expectations. Build quality is second to none and the overall product is outstanding. Thank you Joe, Mark and the team for such a fantastic van. Here’s to many holidays!

We ordered from Spartan and they sourced the van for us. We then chose the interior and all the extras (water tank and solar etc). The van is awesome and stunningly beautiful. Would definitely recommend Spartan to build and convert a van, the communication wasn’t as proactive as we hoped. Any new build niggles have been resolved quickly, efficiently and pragmatically. Their build design is the best we have seen in all our market research. Thank you Spartan.

Thought I’d left a review when we bought our van, but can’t see it. We’ve had our van now for a year, sourced by Joe and custom built. Joe was the only one who actually listened to what we wanted and was able to make a slight tweak to the basic design that’s given us exactly what we wanted. Really good quality and very usable cupboard space. We’ve now had 10 weeks of holidays over the year and been really pleased. The solar panel failed when we were in Germany and Gabriel managed to get it swapped over without any quibble so we could take the grandchildren away and have a fridge for the week! They’ve grown considerably over the year and now have a big stock of vans on site. Thanks again JoeGabriel and the team.

So pleased with the amazing service we have received from Spartan Campers. We are first time campers and had no idea what we were doing and Joe and the team were so knowledgeable and have helped us to design the camper van of our dreams- it’s absolutely gorgeous. On collection, we were kindly greeted at the train station by Fraser who then drove us to their showroom and showed us how everything worked- he was really patient and and answered all of our questions and provided a great demonstration. We are thrilled with both the service and the camper van and would highly recommend.

Such an incredible experience from start to finish. Firstly great help over the phone and then in person with an incredible positive team. They were in touch throughout the whole building process. Mark, Joe and Fraser at the presentation stage were absolutely amazing and very helpful in explaining everything in every detail. We are planning to be back for our second van soon

Stumbled across Spartan campers after a lengthy search. Top quality conversion compared to some of the others we’ve viewed.

Hand over was seamless, few minor points which were rectified before we drove off.

Look forward to getting away in it now.

Not sure where to start other than top outfit. Spartan were the first we came across online after hours and hours of browsing that both of us felt 'this is the one', the level of customisation and visual quality with it felt unrivalled. When we travelled up to meet the team at Spartan, see the setup and the quality of the vans this was affirmed that the quality of the conversions are indeed second to none.

We initially in our minds had chosen a van from the images on the website, but ended up choosing a different one when we saw the vans in the flesh and talking to Joe and Mark and we are not disappointed. The service before and during the sale was fantastic and the after sale service is absolutely no different. Many questions and answered swiftly and professionally, and they are what they say they are - helpful. They were happy to fit a solar panel extra in the few days ahead of collection and on the day of collection picked up a minor defect without qualm.

We've had one trip away in the van so far and whilst we're still learning with what works for us, how we make the most of the storage etc, the functional quality of everything is exceptional.

We came across these guys whilst searching for a bespoke campervan conversion service. Joe and Mark were extremely friendly and helpful in finding us our base vehicle. Afterwards, our visit to their workshops was useful, informative, and confidence building. We were able to decide on the interior colour design and took ownership of our campervan within the month.
We are very happy with the final product and are excited to get travelling.
We have a couple of snagging issues which Joe is keen to resolve but overall the service and care has been outstanding.
Spartan Campers is highly recommended.

We initially saw Spartan Campers on social media and on closer inspection we decided to visit them. We did not have an appointment but was greeted by Joe and Mark and was put at ease very quickly. They listened to us and asked what we wanted and we discussed our budget. We were wowed by the campers in the showroom and although some were more expensive than our budget we were reassured by Joe that he could find us a van. By coincidence there was a van waiting to go out to other customers and the colour of the van both inside and out was just what we wanted. We discussed how this could be achieved within our budget. We are delighted to now be the proud owners of a shiny new Spartan Campervan . The conversion was completed ahead of schedule and we were given detailed instructions by Joe how to operate the Van and how to look after it on handover. We have already driven out on a couple of trips and it drives beautifully . The interior is first rate and we are excited to get many years of use out of it. We recommend Spartan Campers if you are looking for something special.
