Sowiks is a screenshot app for Mac, built for designers, marketers, developers, and support teams who share visuals every day. Instead of juggling files, Sowiks turns every capture into an instant link — so feedback, bug reports, and walkthroughs stay attached to the shot instead of getting buried in a downloads folder or a chat thread. Capture with the macOS shortcuts you already know: window, area, full-screen, or scrolling capture for long pages and chat threads. Right after capturing, annotate with 13 built-in tools — arrows, blur, text boxes, shapes, and a spotlight effect to draw attention to what matters and hide what shouldn't be shared. When you're done, the result becomes a link instead of a file: instant to share, optionally password-protected, and set to expire on your schedule rather than living forever on someone's disk. Sowiks goes beyond static screenshots too. It records video and GIFs with a camera bubble and microphone overlay, extracts text from any screenshot with OCR, and lets you bundle up to 10 related shots into a single collection behind one link — handy for step-by-step instructions or a full bug report. Everything syncs to the cloud automatically, with compression that keeps files small without visibly hurting quality. Getting started costs nothing: window capture and the full annotation editor are free forever, no account required. A 7-day trial unlocks every capture mode, OCR, cloud storage, and recording so you can try the whole thing before deciding. After that, Solo is a single $19.99 one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring charge — for everything the trial unlocked. Sowiks is built by a small team that uses the product daily for its own support, marketing, and bug-reporting workflows, and ships new capture and sharing features based directly on what that day-to-day use turns up.Mehr ansehen
