Been looking for a scooter for a while now due to failing health. Lung cancer last year has really taken my strength. I wanted a light weight scooter just to take my 2 little dogs out for their walks. I came across this family run business on Facebook and decided to pay them a visit.
On arrival I met Michael (lovely guy) I explained what I needed and what I needed it for. No pushy salesman like the large companies, who wanted me to take years of finance. Took a few for a ride, felt save on the one I bought. Michael explained to me how to take it apart and reassemble it explained about the battery and even gave me a little basket for the front so when my little dog has had enough he can ride on the the scooter like a captain 🧑‍✈️. I highly recommend this company. Got it home, I put it together but couldn’t get it to work. Michael rang me straight away and it was through me doing some thing wrong. Can’t wait to get out now in the warmer weather and get these over weight dogs some exercise. 10/10 this place
Quick edit. Been out on the scooter 4 times with the dogs and they are loving their walks again. I’m enjoying getting out in the fresh air. Wish I’d got one of these months ago

I bought a scooter from South Yorkshire mobility. Michael and John sold me a lovely folding scooter. I am very happy with it. These two chaps are very easy to talk to. They explained everything to me and then let me choose without any pressure or pushy salesman ship. A great experience all round. .....Ted

I had seen an advert for south yorkshir mobility on fb so decided to visit. Only a small shop but very well-equipped. The guy was very polite and knowledgeable ended up buying a scooter which was needed. I can honestly say I was under no pressure to buy, gave me free insurance for a month and was highly delighted with the service. 5star for me.

I bought a mobility scooter from here in August 2021, unfortunately it broke down in January and Invacare were taking their time sending the replacement parts. John and Michael were so helpful every time I spoke with them about the matter and I could tell they were as frustrated as I was.
I have recommended South Yorkshire mobility to several people as their customer service is the best.

i contacted this company in the middle of august regarding a recliner chair and i chatted first via their facebook messenger to a very friendly man who i now know was john and then a week later it would have been sooner but i had to rearrange a friendly man called michael came to see me and he very compentently and efficiently measured me up for a chair and explained everything to me and this by the way was after the shop closed he came to my home and spent about an hour with me and he made me feel so at ease that even though he said it would be about 3 weeks before he came back with my chair which was going to be built specifically for my size and stature i paid him there and then and today 15 days after his visit michael and john brought my chair and set it up for me and showed me how to work it they are the friendliest shopworkers ive ever met and id recommend them to anybody with a mobility problem thanks john and michael

The two men who work here are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They care about your needs, they treat you will all the respect in the world and will always advise you based on your best interests, even if this is the cheaper option. Excellent customer service

excellent service!!! great set of guys.
took my dad to their shop as he wanted to look for a riser chair as he has been uncomfortable for some time now through his illness.
we went to the shop and they kindly offered to get my dad a scooter to get him out of the car and back to the car which I thought was really nice (not many mobility shops offer this service).
Dad saw a chair and it was great value for money he bought it and it was even delivered the same day as my husband helped we just wanted to get dad comfy for the weekend.
When this was delivered dad then ordered the electric beds they sell in the shop and my god these are amazing!!!! delivery was within 3 days and they set all this up and did all the lugging about and offered to move the old furniture out of the way.
I would really recommend you pay this shop/guys a visit and highly recommend them to all my friends and family with disabled needs. Great little shop.... keep up the good work guys and thank you
