My hot water does not work on the timer, I have to manually turn the emergency immersion heater on each evening once the heating goes off. This is the only way I can heat my water. Both Southring and IDEAL were informed of the problem in August 2025 but by October 2025 they both stopped replying to my emails. The problem it seems is mine and they have all refused to help. Heating installed August 2024

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish! We had an Air Source Heat Pump fitted fresh with Solar Panels! We were hesitant at first but South Rings made everything straight forward and easy to follow. Right from the initial survey, to the installation, to the aftercare, everything was spot on, compliant and well explained. Stress free hassle free and now we are saving money on our energy. Steve and Danny were very professional lads, they took a very old back boiler out and put in a new combi-boiler.
Very friendly and ensured my elderly parents knew exactly how to use the new boiler. They were very patient.

We got a new boiler free through Leaf as we both have health conditions. Steve and Danny came to fit the boiler and we must say they were both brilliant, they explained everything to us, worked quickly and efficiently and were very professional. We would definitely recommend them to others.

The team were extremely helpful in all my dealings and queries. Whenever I phoned, they called me straight back.
I had problems regarding the link between them and Octopus Energy, and it became clear it was the energy company who were at fault in failing to turn the switch back on when they installed the smart meter I needed. They sent out an electrician straight away to establish this.
I cannot recommend them more highly.

South Rings were very professional and efficient scheduling and attending the various appointments required to fit and plumb in the new combi-boiler along with the electrics. As long as you realise that SRE take care of everything and all you need to do is to sit back and relax, the whole experience is excellent.

Just wanted to leave a review to say a big thank you to Steven & his apprentice for doing my ASHP. They did a fantastic job the couple of days they was here my home is now nice & warm

Having never having had central heating we were told we'd be entitled to a new boiler, radiators and loft insulation under the government ECO4 scheme, I was highly sceptical but I needn't have worried. The team did an excellent job, arrived on time as arranged and each had their own task. It was like a military operation. Got down to work straight away, all very polite blokes, cleaned up after themselves. Slight problem with a pipe left above floor level but quickly sorted out after a telephone call to the firm. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I had been talking for a while about switching to a heat pump and adding solar panels, and after a bit of research and some ringing around, we decided to go with South Rings Energy. From the very first time we spoke to them, everything felt straightforward and honest.

A chap came round to do a survey, took the time to explain our options properly, answered all our questions, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Once we were happy, we booked a date for the install and everything went exactly as planned.

The installation itself was smooth, the team were polite, tidy, and clearly knew what they were doing. Communication was on point throughout and there were no surprises.

We’re really pleased with the whole experience and the end result, and would happily recommend them to anyone considering a heat pump or solar.

After a few teething problems with the heat pump, Mark came all the way over, and fixed the fault first time, and had no more problems with the heating.

Then a couple of the lads had to come out and take photo's, of the work carried out, and informed me the survey had not been carried out properly, and we needed more loft insulation. I since tried contacting them a couple of times, and been told that some one would contact me reguarding the situation, and had no response. Also I asked about further solar panels, and a battery, and also got no reply.

But the work carried out I'm happy with, and the lads who carried out the work were decent people, and kept us informed with what was happening, while the work was being carried out.We had solar panels, heat pump, new radiators and three extractor fans fitted, all the work, was done on the ECO4 Scheme, I would of given a higher score, if it was'nt for the few complaints.

I had a new boiler installed and I am delighted with it. The two men from South Riings Energy, who did the installation did an excellent job . They were friendly and polite and were extremely tidy and removed all rubbish. I would recommend this company.

Southrings installed our Solar panels, Heat pump, Boiler, all new radiators, attic insulation and cavity wall insulation through an Eco4 grant to which I was eligible because of my health conditions. What an amazing job they did. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional, friendly, tidy and informative team. Everything is working brilliantly and it is so good to feel warm without worrying so much about the bills coming in! If you’re looking for safe hands to do your installation, these are the people.

Surveyor and engineers were punctual and efficient. They explained what would happen on the day. Installation was smooth and heating is running well now ten months later.

12months ago Southrings energy fitted a replacement Boiler for us under the ECOE4 scheme .
I cant believe how good they were Having done all my own plumbing in the past including new bathrooms and Kitchen . The two chaps worked so hard and efficiently and completed it in a day, everything was cleared away and disposed of as necessary
They even showed us both how the remote control worked and even took the time to set it for us .
They made it a very pleasant experience . Perfect !

Brilliant team. I had a full conversion to a combi boiler and it was all done in about 7 hours. Three workers came and with minimal fuss got on with the job. They knew exactly what they were doing and I felt very comfortable letting them have the run of the house.
