South Leicestershire Memorial Park Crematorium was beautifully and spotlessly maintained. There was plenty of time between each service. The service was carried out by Lynn Pallett an independent celebrant who was absolutely amazing. Without meeting mum, and after having an hour or so meeting, she was able to sum mums life up to a tee. The script was forwarded for approval and any additions made. This script was printed and presented as a lovely keepsake along with a seeded heart for planting. Lynn’s professionalism shone out and made a difficult time memorable and dignified. The Broughton Astley Coop were fab in all of their services and dignified totally at all times too. The aftercare all round has also been great.

On a very sad day all went well - a perfect way to say goodbye to Joseph - dad / brother / grandad and friend.

I recently attended a funeral at Gilroes in Leicester and it was such a bad experience with organising and the service, that I swore blind that when my mum passed, there was no way I was going to go there. My mum passed on 21/03/23 and as executor I had choice for the service. I chose South Leicester after visiting it and positive recommendation from close friend. I was extremely impressed with the personalisation of the service, complete with coloured lighting and images projected on wall and screens. The whole place is warm and welcoming and calming and I am certain my mum would have been chuffed with my choice and would have wished she was alive to see it in person. Thankyou to all the staff there and at Co-op funeral services in Wigston for their kind and professional service.

This was the best funeral service I had arranged for a very long while.
My mother would have been very pleased to attended herself.
From the start to finished it was a beautiful environment, well put together with the Pro Tribute of music, via Orbitus, a fantastic Celebrant, Nathalie Sadler...second to none.
So pleased I chose Paul Pender Funeral Directors, Karen, was amazing.
Jannine, at South Leicestershire Memoria was straight back to me with any tiny query, as were others involved.
This funeral was all done by remote, I had never met any of the team. I wasn’t able to go to the funeral of my mother, but how it was done, with live video, plus 28 days to view is brilliant.

It was a service I never wanted to attend.
The location, building and grounds were perfect;, calm, peaceful and well maintained.
My wife would have loved it.

All Requirements that I needed was carried out in a very relaxed manner and kindness.

The crematorium was in a wonderful setting, the inside was bright and cheery, a place mum would have approved of.

Our funeral service was lovey. The setting is relaxed and the gardens nice even this early in the year. The out of town setting is much more relaxed and more appropriate to the use of the venue.
We later scattered the ashes in the memorial garden at the back, which is hidden from the road and car park - this was perfect, thank you.
This is a necessary service for all families at some point and I can't recommend them highly enough.

This is a wonderful peaceful place for a funeral service beautiful surroundings, I sadly lost my wonderful wife recently and am so glad I followed the recommendation of a close friend and chose this place thankyou

The funeral we had for my father was very professional and sympathetic. This company and employees were brilliant. Every detail was above and beyond. Would definitely use them again.

This is a nice place to have a cremation service. It is purpose built, easy to access and has pleasant gardens, situated in nice surroundings. The parking is good.

Facilities were excellent. The service went without a hitch.

I found the chapel nice and clean and welcoming. Everything ran very smoothly
and the music was just what I asked for and at the right volume. Could not have been better.

Our funeral director (Baytree Funerals) and the staff at Memoria South Leicester did a splendid and fitting job of letting us celebrate our loved one's life. The venue has adequate car parking and is set in pleasant grounds.
The building is modern, claen and functional. Staff were supporting and helpful.

Hi there recently we had a ceremony at the South Leicestershire Crematorium 08/04/2021 for my wife the setting was beautiful obviously under covid restrictions and government guidelines we were allocated 30 family and friends to the ceremony a lot of people did turn up outside But were sensible and social distanced for the occasion so it wasn't a problem we had the use of the Web link so family and friends around the world could be part of the occasion this worked brilliantly BUT having now had the access to view the ceremony online I noticed that you could only actually see the Celebant and 4 other people in the room out of the whole 30 guests this I found a little disturbing I for one was not even in the view at all until I left and said my goodbyes to my wife and when we were asked if we as a family wanted to wave at the camera to my late wife's mother who was unable to be there because she was in Spain. We waved the 7 of us whom it concerned and only 2 people were seen on the camera waving this to me as a one chance was very poor the camera is clear but it's view is blocked by a wall from the left now I can't be the only person that had had this issue but the camera needs to be placed in an area that it has full viewing access of the whole room so very disappointing I must say so maybe something should be done about this but everything else was perfect
